“Jim Roberts was our contact with Black Diamond for our project which consisted of (1)replacing a poured concrete front walkway that had two steps with pavers on an incline with no steps (this avoids people tripping on the steps at night) ; (2) creating a parking space next to the driveway with pavers; and (3) creating extra patio space using pavers around the back yard pool out of a grass area. Jim provided a nice presentation and competitive estimate and provided valuable creative input that steered us towards good choices of pavers and a great outcome. I was very nervous about the second part of the project (see above) because virtually all of our house utilities (gas, electric, telephone, cable, water line and drain line) all were directly through the area to be paved. Also, two massive tree root systems running through the area had to be hand removed due to being directly over the utilities. Jim and Black Diamond served up a truly outstanding crew that pulled it off without cutting any of the utility lines. Jim had good follow through and represented his company professionally and he would be our first call should we need paver services again. In summary, this was one of our best ever contracting outcomes and give due credit to Jim for that result. Chuck Clark”

“My husband and I had an old school 1958 pool in need of a serious update. Derian Pools created a magical new pool and outdoor fireplace for us. They designed a Baja bench in the pool we never would have thought of, and we enjoy it all the time. The new Jacuzzi and waterfall effects are gorgeous. “I found Coastal Aquatic Creations after interviewing several contractors and I'm so glad I decided to hire them for my pool/outdoor living space. We wanted to build a pool/spa and a built in BBQ area but really had no clue where to start. From the beginning they were super responsive and communicated with me frequently, which I really appreciated. They gave me a timeline of the build, and surprisingly were on time and at times even a little ahead of schedule. I had questions for them nearly every few days, and made several changes along the way. It never took them longer than the same day to get back to me. Their crew was also incredible to work with. They were polite, hard working, and also great at communicating their work schedule along the way. If you're looking for a company who is easy to work with, responsive, and delivers a superb product, you need to hire Coastal Aquatic Creations. “Agoura Sash & Door installed all my crown moldings, windows and doors. I also purchased knobs and handles from them. They have an amazing selection of products. They have a welcoming atmosphere showroom with a very knowledgeable staff. The workers who came out to my home for installation were neat, friendly, on time, and professional. I will use them for future home improvement projects and always refer them to friends and family. “We were recommended by our friends to check out Green Home Systems, who installed their solar system with them. From the moment we reached out till the installed Panasonic panels it took less than a month! The crew is super knowledgeable and friendly. Our project manager Cat informed us along the way about next steps and developments. The installer was super fast, respectful and clean. After being explained over a Zoom call about the system and the whole process, we received plans tailor for our house, signed the contract and got the solar system installed within a day. Now we are waiting for the city permits to operate the system. Super exiting!!! We are very grateful for the wonderful job GHS did for us. We would refer our family and friends going with this company. We will save a lot of money, especially considering the rising utility rates and we will reduce our carbon footprint as well!”
