That's when we contracted The Stair Repair to build a custom built-in suited to our direct needs. The finished product was stunning and the quality of craftsmanship was remarkable. “I had my old wooden deck replaced with a much larger one made of Trex, and chose Katz contracting not because they were the lowest cost of any contractor, but because they were the lowest cost of the contractors we thought were the most reputable and professional. It was an excellent decision on our part. The quality of workmanship, co-operation and professionalism from Mark, Percy and their team was exceptional, they always came when they said they would and worked hard all the time they were there. They were very aware that they were working right outside windows and doors when my family was inside and seemed to make an effort to keep their eyes on the job and not look inside the house, which was quite comforting to my wife in particular. I really got to trust and like these guys. Morris Katz, the owner, had great follow up. I don't have much tolerance for poor customer service and it was great to see a building contractor so customer focused. Having an Engineering background I am quite detail oriented and I like to know exactly what is going to happen before it does, and Morris was great at discussing exactly what I wanted throughout the project and making the result match my expectations. My new deck looks fantastic, and I would have no hesitation at all recommending this company for similar projects.”

“We are are extremely satisfied with the landscaping work Andre and his team did on our Oxford home. They arrived each day as scheduled, worked very hard all day and did a beautiful job transforming a yard that had been severely neglected for years before we bought the house. The project included re-sodding the entire yard, installing a retaining wall in the front, a large flagstone patio and fire pit in the back yard, sprinkler system and landscaping with plants and trees.. Andre and his crew were professional, diligent and energetic from the beginning to the end of the job. We highly recommend their services!”

“Dave and his team have done multiple jobs for me at my home in Larchmont NY. This July they were very creative in finding ways to repair carpenter ant damage which filled me with dismay and concern. they also did several repairs on my house after Hurricane Sandy. I hired them because they had done a great job on a home addition for my son. They are really talented, honest, hard-working and pleasant to have around. Cathy”
