“The window treatments and bench seating pillows that Mila made for my kitchen are absolutely beautiful. The quality and attention to detail of her work is truly outstanding. I also got her to lengthen some (lined) draperies that I purchased at Pottery Barn...she did such an amazing job I have to tell people that they had been altered and they look absolutely beautiful. She is excellent to work with,and very knowledgeable. I got Mila business card from Mary Jo's fabrics along with three others and after interviewing three others decided to go with her because of her knowlege and professionalism and I am glad that I did. I will continue to use her services as I decorate the rest of my house.”

“WeI had a deck replaced with a larger screened porch. This required removing the old structure and constructing the new with modifications to the house. A fireplace was removed from the living room and replaced with French doors for an eye-catching entry to the new porch. The screen sections are very wide and the new roofline is very high, which gives a dramatic effect and brings the outdoors in. A gas grill and exhaust fan were installed so the porch feels like a complete outdoor living area even in the rain. Deckscapes was outstanding. The sales and design process was superior to every other company we interviewed. The on-site contractor was personable, attentive and responsive to our requests. The crew was skilled and respectful of our home. To top it off, we have never met a contractor who cleaned up so thoroughly each and every night.!”

“We have used M&C Landscaping for replacing front steps as well as entire large driveway in Cornelius. After getting 4 estimates, I contacted a neighbor to asked who did his driveway which was M&C. The estimates varied by more than $6000 dollars. The Owner, Maynor, said initially that he wouldn't be the highest priced contractor nor the lowest. As it turned out, he was the second lowest and more than that, his process for replacing the driveway exceeded all the other quotes which meant his base for the driveway was deeper after removing the existing concrete and the layers of materials used exceeded all others quotes. Pedro, his lead contractor, set the pitch for drainage and laid EVERY paver with the help of 4 others, The crew was polite, friendly, and cleaned up perfectly each day. The processor 5 days. I provided drinks and donuts as they worked in the heat of the summer last year. Maynor provided a huge list of references and we were able to see his workmanship prior to signing on. This month he put in water drainage systems to stop the shoreline erosion which was occurring above my lakefront walkway. He also replaced my pine needles with rich brown mulch and he and his company highly recommended.”

“If you are ready for an outdoor space to REALLY live in, you can't go wrong with George Krump and his crew at The Stone Man. I recently had the pleasure of working together on an outdoor space for a long time client of mine. George was always available and great to work with. The design was exactly what I imagined and incorporating all the furnishings I wanted to include came together perfectly. His visual presentation was so helpful when imagining is tough... We both were thrilled with the work of the other - and together the design, build and install created a space this family can spend many an afternoon or late night entertaining and spending time together. I highly recommend George and his crew!”
