That's when we contracted The Stair Repair to build a custom built-in suited to our direct needs. The finished product was stunning and the quality of craftsmanship was remarkable. “I bought an older home in the summer. It came with 2 sets of sliding doors that were side by side. Chris removed the doors and replaced the space with a large double door and 2 large glass side panels. The effect is perfect. Chris and his team are very talented as well as professional.”

“I had my old wooden deck replaced with a much larger one made of Trex, and chose Katz contracting not because they were the lowest cost of any contractor, but because they were the lowest cost of the contractors we thought were the most reputable and professional. It was an excellent decision on our part. The quality of workmanship, co-operation and professionalism from Mark, Percy and their team was exceptional, they always came when they said they would and worked hard all the time they were there. They were very aware that they were working right outside windows and doors when my family was inside and seemed to make an effort to keep their eyes on the job and not look inside the house, which was quite comforting to my wife in particular. I really got to trust and like these guys. Morris Katz, the owner, had great follow up. I don't have much tolerance for poor customer service and it was great to see a building contractor so customer focused. Having an Engineering background I am quite detail oriented and I like to know exactly what is going to happen before it does, and Morris was great at discussing exactly what I wanted throughout the project and making the result match my expectations. My new deck looks fantastic, and I would have no hesitation at all recommending this company for similar projects.”

“Cindy and Milorad are an excellent team, providing extremely imaginative design recommendations, accurate estimates and the most beautiful hand made wood constructs, in my case an entire renovation of a 1980's fireplace to an colonial encased fireplace with glass and lighted curio cabinets on either side and a marble hearth. Milorad also created the most beautiful mahogany front door with glass and side panels. Cindy, as always, is key to the design process. They are both very professional, and just nice people to boot! In addition to large jobs Milorad and his team are expert in restoring old furniture. I would recommend them to anyone who wants something beautiful done with their home.”
