“We had our kitchen designed and built by Peter Appelson. We have a small kitchen so our main issue was storage space and counter space. Peter came to us with an incredible design utilizing every square foot giving us so much storage space that we can hardly fill it, yet keeping an open flowing integrated feel. His cabinets are very well built as well as being beautiful. We had told him we wanted a light cherry and the color is perfect. Peter designed a multi level counter/work space for us with a two sided glass cabinet above the counter with interior and below cabinet lighting. This is what you see when you walk into our house and it is beautiful. His open design makes our house feel so much larger. Peter's knowledge, experience and incredible design sense leaves you in trustworthy hands. He implicitly understands how to exploit the space that you have. Because our kitchen is now flowing into our dining room and livingroom, Peter also discussed with us how to more fully integrate all the spaces and helped us to choose the right crown molding and color for our hardwood floors. Peter also understands what is needed when it comes to electrical and plumbing and worked very well with our trades and GC. You can trust him to understand what is needed and he is very flexible and can work with and around any issues that may come up. Peter has a phenomenal work ethic - one thing I want to point out is that he is also very clean. He leaves the work space vacuumed and organized for the next days work. He was also on time with design and installation. Peter wants the design to work for the client. He listens and cares about what the client wants and because of his experience, he understands how to bridge what you want with the space he is designing for. Peter cares about his designs and cabinetry - they are truly a reflection of him. He is truly an artist. We can't recommend him highly enough.”

While the store can be pricey, we have also found that many items at Lindell's are very comparable to Lowe's and Home Depot, and it is a heck of lot easier to find someone to help you find just the thing you need at C A Lindell. We just moved back to Northwest Connecticut, and Lindell's is one of the many great things about living here. Highly recommended.”

“Nicole has done several projects for me. The first one was a restoration/ refinishing of my grandmother's ( well over 100 years old) antique hope chest. She refinished it in a lovely gray- slightly distressed. It now serves as our coffee table in the living room and gives us pleasure every day. We then asked Nicole to refinish our entire bedroom set- it was 1970's dark pine. I told Nicole what paint colors we were using for the walls, and she suggested a two tone which looks wonderful! Our bedroom is now warm and looks brand new! I had another antique hope chest I wanted to use at the bottom of the bed. As the room was done in shades of neutrals, Nicole suggested a coral for a bright accent. She did a wonderful job and it looks so bright and modern while still honoring its beloved past. Not only is Nicole excellent at her craft, but she has the vision to make suggestions that always look fantastic. I have since recommended Nicole to friends and they have been very pleased.”

“Cutting Edge spray foamed our barn in the middle of a renovation and did a great job. There were lots of beams and extras to cover to protect from overspray which they did. Parts of the barn were sprayed with closed cell, and open cell was sprayed over some previous closed cell. The owner had no problem reducing the amount of open cell spray foam from the initial estimate to meet my budget. It took them a little longer than they planned but was not charged for any extras.”
