“I needed ideas for curtains/blinds for a large window wall and also shutters to match the existing ones for a few windows in our new home. I found 60% Colour Design online and noticed that they were local. After talking with Joyce via email and on the phone, she had many ideas for our home and could easily match the shutters. She brought ideabooks, samples and swatches for me to look at and left them so I could really take time to see what would work best for our home. After I decided on the "Skyline" wide window panels and chose the "Palmer" fabric, it took only a few days, I think only 10 days, to get the blinds in and within 2 weeks, the blinds were installed. We then had some issues with the construction of the window wall and they returned to disassemble the blinds and put them back in quickly after the windows were fixed. Joyce is so much fun to work with and our sliding window panels are perfect for the space.”

“I was impressed with the level of professionalism that these guys exhibit. Not only did they do great work, but they were able to provide the vision and ideas that I was lacking in order to proceed. They were also really flexible when I wanted to go a different route than what was first talked about. A lot of times these big projects require a great deal of flexibility and working changes and they were cool with that as the project moved forward.”

“We are very fortunate to have found Mesa Closet Design, Michael Claffey. We were impressed with the level of detail on the initial consultation. Michael spent hours measuring our closets and taking detailed notes. He then provided several design options and used 3D software to help us envision these options. Thanks to his engineering background, he was able to work around a unique feature in our master closet without incurring additional costs for hardwood installation. Though it took more time and effort, Michael ensured storage units, closets and cabinets were installed correctly with structural integrity. Installation was with minimal household interruption. Michael provided excellent communication and updates from design inception to final finish. We are pleased with the finished, high quality project. Thanks to Michael, we’re able to properly store all of our items in beautiful closets & cabinets and ditch the cardboard boxes! We highly recommend Michael Claffey, Mesa Closet Design. He is certified to deal with lead-based paint, and his extensive experience and knowledge about old houses has helped us stay well within budget and has provided us with creative solutions to numerous "old house" issues. He has performed both interior and exterior work for us, including finish carpentry, painting, and structural repairs. We have worked with many contractors throughout our 35 years of home ownership, and Paul is by far the best. We have several more projects he will be helping us with!”

“We had used this company for some routine maintenance on our boiler system and hot water heater. Their reasonable rates, friendly & knowledgeable service, and quick response time made us repeat customers. But when we experienced several weeks of below-zero temps, all our attempts to prevent frozen pipes proved fruitless when I returned home to discover that the pipes in our second story bathroom had busted and were quickly flooding my entire house! With my husband out of phone service, I frantically searched for our water shut-off valve in hopes of stopping the steady flow of water now coming through my garage and first floor ceilings. I'd never seen my house "rain", but I found myself helpless to stop it or minimize the damage. As a last resort, I scrambled to find the magnet for Double Diamond. Despite my frantic call, the tech quickly and calmly walked me through how to find and turn off our water valve. Once the emergency was mitigated, I was shocked to see him pull into my driveway within just minutes to help me assess the damage. He gave me phone numbers and references for disaster response companies. He even walked me through all the basic procedures, how to deal with other professionals, what to take photos of, how to deal with our homeowners insurance and submit a claim. He went way way above and beyond his actual job. I'd have been a complete mess without his calm and down to earth advice. And come to find out, despite all of his help, his services ended up costing only a bit more than we had been charged previously for routine maintenance. This guy really saved my sanity and I highly recommend his company for any heating, cooling, or plumbing needs!”
