“My wife and I own a small house in Logan Square, which has had old asbestos shingle siding since we bought it in 2011. We also wanted to replace our front windows, which were old and drafty. We received many bids, but the Siding and Windows Group was the standout. Bart (who coordinated the project) was incredibly helpful and explained a lot of ideas and prices without any "hard sell." The pricing of Siding and Windows Group was competitive, and their customer service is INCREDIBLE. The two workers who installed the windows and siding were polite, efficient, and did very good work. The difference between Siding and Windows Group and other contractors is night-and-day. Greg (the owner) came to the house several times to check on the project and check in with me (and this was not a large project, he is just very attentive and makes sure the job is done right). We are completely satisfied with the work done by Siding and Windows Group, and will recommend them to anyone and everyone in the future. Colin Chicago, IL”

She was very patient with me and even placed the a few different door designs into the blue print elevations to help me visualize how the door will work with my facade.”

“I hired Fix It People to replace some cabinets and they did a fantastic job. While chatting with the general manager, I happened to mention I was listing for sale in the near future and needed to spruce up a few things beforehand. They made a few recommendations for additional alterations. I looked into some other contractors, found Fix It People's price to be extremely competitive and moved forward with a light remodel of the bathroom and living room. They were professional, completed the work in timely fashion and worked some magic in a few outdated areas. I could not be happier and will be using them again to paint our new home.”

“We were so fortunate to find Craig to restore the original entry hardware of our landmark home. Craig is extremely knowledgeable about the inner workings of intricate vintage lock mechanisms and was able to restore the gorgeous brass mortise hardware using salvaged parts he inventories in his shop as well as fashioning parts where needed. They don't make hardware like they used to and Craig was able to allow us to retain the hardware of our historic home which I am sure should last another 50 to 100 years (longer than I will!).”

“I hired Chicago’s Elite Handyman to replace all of my outlets and switches in addition to adding Lurton digital dimmers. Andrew showed up on time, was clean cut, knowledgeable, and very efficient at his job. Andrew found several wiring issues and was able to both explain them in a way I could understand and quickly correct them. I thought he was polite and definitely nice to look at. I will definitely hire him again.”
