“I needed a solution for corralling and organizing my family's shoes, jackets, hats and more in our mudroom. When exploring solutions from box stores or online, the quality and materials used were sub par and didn't fit our space. That's when we contracted The Stair Repair to build a custom built-in suited to our direct needs. The finished product was stunning and the quality of craftsmanship was remarkable. “Last summer, we had most of our windows replaced by Fine Home Solutions by Brady. They did an excellent job installing the windows and were both quick and neat. John and his crew went out of their way to not inconvenience my family as they did their work. This spring, I had a problem with some screens. It had nothing to do with the installation yet John dealt with the provider to see that my problem was rectified. His customer service and sincere concern that the customer is happy will keep his phone number #1 in my handy man file.”

“iI just completed a job with John Dean Custom Cabinetry. The quality, design and customer service was supurb. The work was done promptly and price was very competitive and worth every penny. There were no compromises, a couple gliches occurred but were promptly remedied so the result was exactly what I wanted. Two years ago I did a kitchen with another company at a second home and glitches were solved with compromised solutions. It was a company supplying stock (high end-Chrystal) cabinets. I discovered this is a big advantage of working with custom cabinets. I was very happy with my choice of JD I would recommend them highly to anyone. Edward Molyneaux”

“Hands down the best tradesmen we dealt with on our Kitchen addition. Chip and Justin design and construct the most beautiful and reasonably priced cabinets in Connecticut. These guys should be the model of for others dealing with and providing the 'homeowner" with what they expect and pay for. “I had my old wooden deck replaced with a much larger one made of Trex, and chose Katz contracting not because they were the lowest cost of any contractor, but because they were the lowest cost of the contractors we thought were the most reputable and professional. It was an excellent decision on our part. The quality of workmanship, co-operation and professionalism from Mark, Percy and their team was exceptional, they always came when they said they would and worked hard all the time they were there. They were very aware that they were working right outside windows and doors when my family was inside and seemed to make an effort to keep their eyes on the job and not look inside the house, which was quite comforting to my wife in particular. I really got to trust and like these guys. Morris Katz, the owner, had great follow up. I don't have much tolerance for poor customer service and it was great to see a building contractor so customer focused. Having an Engineering background I am quite detail oriented and I like to know exactly what is going to happen before it does, and Morris was great at discussing exactly what I wanted throughout the project and making the result match my expectations. My new deck looks fantastic, and I would have no hesitation at all recommending this company for similar projects.”

“Sharon has painted a number of murals in our home in East Texas. Her work is outstanding. People walk up to touch them, so sure they are going to feel something other than a flat wall. Her backgound in Graphic Art and her years of experience as a signpainter prepared her to be an 'AWESOME" muralist. She takes your ideas and makes them a showstopping piece of art in your home. I really can't say enough about her work. She keeps her work area very clean. She is a lovely person to be around and we have become good friends. She has a God given talent and is one of those people who leaves a piece of herself in her work. I am planning a future project with her now.”
