“Bernie Miller is a talented and thoughtful professional and his company provides quality products and services at a fair price, since 2000 in the South Puget Sound in Washington. Through Quality Renovation LLC, Energy Efficiency First LLC, and now BC Renovation LLC (and woodworking), Bernie has experience doing numerous aspects of residential remodeling and repair, building performance, and wood craft projects. His well of knowledge and skill are broad and deep; he is collaborative; and he is well connected with other tradespersons and resources in Thurston and Lewis counties. He's remodeled five homes that I've purchased, remodeled, and then sold or kept as rentals, many of them from top to bottom and from frame to finish. The work has included exterior and interior building repair and rough carpentry, siding, custom interior finish carpentry, kitchen and bathroom remodels, cabinet making and installation and refacing, wood floor repair, and milling and installing crown molding and interior trim. I have been very, very happy with his work over the years.”

“When we built our new home, Theater One installed our whole home sound system, computer/wifi components and wiring, as well as our movie theater room, with projectors, speakers and sound proofing. They were great to work with at the time and we still have contact with them periodically as we decide to add different electronic/technical items to our home. They provided a comprehensive plan for our entire house, with detailed descriptions of its capabilities, as well as things we could add later as our needs changed.”

“Cesar did a large installation of Easy Closets in our new house. Several were quite large/complicated and we needed care to be taken in our house which we'd yet to even move into. The entire project took a week to complete. That was about six months ago, and we love the closets and the care Cesar took installing them. Couldn't be happier.”

“NW decks is now completing 17 decks at Waters Edge Condominiums, Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood, WA. Their courtesy, expertise and availabilty during the planning and execution phases of this project are far beyond what we see with the average contractor. As for as workmanship, I defy anyone to find a better, more beautiful deck anywhere in the country. Ours will be standing long after the condos are gone! You cannot go wrong with Northwest Decks. “I have been working with Huntwood for a number of years. Jill is a Top Shelf detailed designer who sticks with you from beginning to end of the project. “It has been several weeks since my project was completed so I feel qualified to attest to the quality of their work. I had my deck redone with PVC. My project had some hiccups due to a bad worker. The only reason I am giving them 5 stars is because of the project manager, Ryan Quinn. I was quite impressed with his communication and the speed with which he took action when needed. The deck is holding up well and it feels solid. Wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.”

“We were more then pleased with our experience! Michelle arrived as scheduled, after touring the house and seeing the windows that needed to be addressed, Michelle made several suggestions of products that would work based on our style and level of privacy and/or darkness we were looking to attain. She had sample books with her, so we could see how each product and color would work in each room. I placed my order that day. The installer arrived several weeks later, installed the blinds quickly and he cleaned up after himself! The top down bottom up blinds were the best suggestion ever, the options for privacy are excellent. It was a five star experience for sure!”

After a review of several ideas and alternative products, we deceided to use Anderson Woodworks for our project. We agreed on a contract price and a work schedule. Because of Brian's experience and knowledge, the project was completed on schedule and with in the budget and estimate.
