“Happy Kitchens were hired to re vamp my very tired kitchen turning it into a place of joy and happiness!! They replaced some doors, completely changing the surrounds to reflect the new colour and finish, you really cannot tell that they are my old cupboards they are sparkling. Happy Kitchens also added some new cupboards which are beautiful and practical. They integrated a dishwasher and covered my ugly boiler with a lovely cupboard to match the kitchen, this was a transformation. The fitter also worked tirelessly to ensure the finish was absolutely perfect he really went over and above and cannot recommend these guys enough. Ben is lovely to deal with also, so no horrible salesman will call - Just Ben :) I spend more of my time in my kitchen now and saved around £13k vs a quote from a leading DIY store :)”

“Glyn Curtis Kitchen design and build We had an ordinary, dull, builder-selected and installed kitchen. Glyn’s task: Redesign, build new; make it suitable with a contiguous new conservatory. He produced realistic 3 dimensional plans on his computer for our perusal and discussion. Result: Despite awkward dimensions, knocked out window and French doors he produced an elegant, even glamorous result. He designs to minute detail; gets proportion right, has good ideas for ingenious v use of space, lighting, the use of mirrors and positioning of all items. All services had to be re-aligned. Glyn controls his suppliers well, if anything is wrong it gets redone. We are very pleased with our new kitchen for function and ambiance. Glyn also designed and built cupboards and bookshelves in beautiful proportions both sides of our sitting room fireplace. They enhance the quality of the whole room.”

Our last project consisted of a boardroom table over 10m in length, our client was delighted with it and has ordered another one for their new office. “I have gone through a number of house renovations and have never found someone as incredible as Capstick. His attention to detail, taste and experience is outstanding. From laying oak floors in an old uneven floored cottage, to building hidden doors that encompassed vintage wood pieces (trimmed to fit). Could not recommend him enough!”

“I work with this company regularly, as they produce quality work, on schedule and budget. They cope with the many unusual pieces i ask of them. The owner James is creatively minded and very hands on. This cabinet was finished in gloss lacquer, and posed some tricky door assembly requirements. The client was delighted with the results.”

“Alan has done various pieces of work for me over the last 30 years including kitchen refurbishment, bespoke cupboards, shelving, stable doors, chair repairs etc. The most recent was less than 2 years ago when he made a superb front door and frame in European oak. I have always found his work to be excellent.”
