“We wanted a change to our rather pedestrian front lawn. We were recommended to Urban Oasis by a satisfied friend. Essentially, we wanted a grassless front lawn with herbs - drought resistant plants - rocks and gravel artistically placed with some color highlights and an overall feeling of serenity. We reviewed some lawns that we liked and Urban Oasis came up with a unique design that met our needs but was cost effective. Debbie G. submitted drawings and estimates. Her crews were superb. She worked right along with the gardeners and supervised the tree trimmers, etc., Project came in under estimate..”

They know how to select plants that are right for the climate and season and which will create a low-maintenance, lovely Mediterranean feeling garden. “We came to JMS Design from a referral from our interior designer. We started this project with a dirt lot and everything was built from ground up. We wanted an east coast feeling to our landscape with areas that we could enjoy as well as space for the kids to play. This was achieved through the pool and knot garden areas. Also the entertainment pool house has been a big hit with the outdoor tv and adjacent barbecue being used regularly. The installation went smoothly and we enjoy the plantings and bluestone and brick paving.”

“Redid both front and back yard vegetation to be drought tolerant. No grass in front at all. Parkway and yard all trees and plants from New Zealand. Wonderful to work with and after a few years the yards are all grown in and many compliments given. Nancy is easy to work with and very reasonable.”
