“Ollie was great to work with. He spent time with us chatting about what we liked and what we hated! He then took that away and came up with some brilliant plans. He explained why he had chosen each plant and how they would work together. We’re really happy with the end result and can’t wait until everything comes into flower. “Last summer Emma helped us create a brand new garden; including a play area, new beds and lawn and a detailed planting plan. Our brief was for a family-friendly, low maintenance garden with year-round colour and interest, that also attracted bees and butterflies, and that’s exactly what Emma delivered. She also bought all the plants and materials, and created a maintenance plan to help us keep the garden looking great all year round. Having completed the planting at the end of last summer, it was so exciting and rewarding to see the garden come to life this spring, with so many interesting and beautiful plants. Now the garden has truly become an extension of our living space, and everyone who sees it comments on how stunning it looks. I would highly recommend Emma’s services, not only for her talent and expertise, but also because she is so personable and made the whole process a pleasure.”

“We used LGD for several projects, not least the design and building of our garden. The design process was painless, with expert advice from their lead designer on hand almost whenever we needed her. The build was complicated due to access through the house and parking issues; however, the work was of the highest expected standards, and the project management allowed us to take a step back and let the team get on with the work. Both the landscape team and designers were engaged and polite throughout.”

“InsideOut Home & Garden Improvements Ltd totally re-designed our back garden in 2016, building a retaining wall with drainage to deal with a serious water issue, creating a sun-trap patio, landscaping and also repairing our drains and laying down a new drive. Sounds like a huge, disruptive job. Didn't seem like that at all. Superb result, phenomenal attention to detail and a fantastic crew. They like bacon sarnies, by the way - Tony Lawrence, Haywards Heath”

“After 20+ years of living in the same house which had undergone numerous changes over the years, the garden was due a ‘makeover’ it had served us well as a family garden but our needs had changed (along with the ability to manage it) therefore time to look for an ‘expert’… Anthony Arnold of Emerging Landscapes stood out from others with the time he took to listen and understand our needs, wishes and not least, budget constraints. His approach is collaborative, very important as we wished to retain a few existing features which he needed to incorporate in the design. He explained and involved us in the design process along the way, from detailed site survey (we have a terraced garden, so not an easy task) concept drawing to final plan. He is innovative and creative and his desire to create a beautiful space that answers our needs and we can enjoy for many more years with minimum maintenance was very apparent. Our enthusiasm for the garden has been re-ignited.”

“I found Design for outdoors via this site as i was searching for a outdoor kitchen specialist as i had been really let down by a cowboy builder. Simon came across as very honest and to the point. After a couple of talks over the phone he had offered to come along to see what was needed to put my garden project right. There was a small charge for this but it allowed him to take measurements and come up with a 3D cad design which we then tailored together to come up with the exact design unlike the previous builder. We agreed some prices and work started. The builders and Simon where great and even took care of my precious french bull dogs. I was really really pleased with the end product and it was a real pleasure to work with Simon and his men. I can strongly recommend there work and would not hesitate to use them in the future.”

“Abel Landscaping and Darren have made a First Class job of my Driveway, Patio and Artificial Grass to a very high standard. This was all done while I was away on holiday, I was kept informed of all progress on a daily basis with pictures sent to my Mobile phone. That's what I call going the extra mile. I had some additional work done and was kept fully informed of any additional costs as when this happened. Thomas who installed my Driveway, Patio and Grass is one of the best Ground workers I have come across, with so much knowledge and great recommendations.”
