“We have been so pleased with our new landscape design by Cat Valand Landscape Design. Our shrubs had been planted over 30 years ago (when our house was originally built), and they were either too large for the area, or too scraggly because of age. Cat Valand gave our home a new "facelift" and was so easy to work with. One side of our yard slopes down and we have struggled with keeping dirt in place; Cat immediately realized we needed a small retaining wall; she helped us pick out the stone for the wall and had it installed. She made arrangements for our old plants to be removed, selected new ones, and had them installed. Cat was at our home when she said she would be....each day the workers were here, they were on time and cleaned up their work area. We have a lot of people in and out of our home and have received many complimentary comments on our new landscaping. Our home looks very welcoming! We would highly recommend Cat Valand Landscape Design.”

“I've had Vedic gardens make over my backyard, add a patio and retaining walls, plus just beautify the garden. It was a very thorough, professional and excellent experience, with an extremely reasonable price tag! “This past spring I engaged Artistry in Plants to design a garden of perennials in my front and side yard. Wendi is not only a work horse, she comes in with creative energy and expertise that I could NEVER replicate on my own! She picked out plants that are natural to our area, with colors that blended together beautifully. She went beyond the call of duty to keep my costs to a minimum, advising me of local sales and even coming with me on a couple of occasions to pick out plants that fit my personal taste and objectives. I love working with a company that is so into it for the love of gardening as opposed to a love of money! Can't go wrong with Artistry in Plants! :-)”

“Kevin drew up a plan to update our overgrown landscaping both front and back. He was willing to 'tweek' the plan to fit our budget and once the contract was signed, the project moved in a timely manner with a respectful crew. We are happy with our results,which in a years' time have filled in nicely. Kevin has replaced those plantings that did not survive the winter.”

“We decided to hire Garden Environments after watching the mulch and soil on the side of our house swept away again and again after a rain fall. Our neighbours hired them and were very satisfied with their work, so we set up an appointment to see what could be done for our property . From beginning to end, this project could not have gone better. The detailed plans, the excellent work done in a timely manner, the plantings, and follow up were all done with care and professionalism. Shortly after the swale was completed, a severe thunderstorm came through and dislodged some of the plantings. A call was made and they were out to our house to fix the damage and prevent it from happening again. This is a company that takes pride in their work and stands by their work. It was pleasure having Garden Environments work its magic. We highly recommend them.”

“We did a major landscape renovation in our yard. Old North State Landscape consulted with us, designed the features, and handled the entire project. They were thorough, professional, and creative. They did everything we expected and more. And, they are genuinely nice people! We were very pleased with the outcome of our project, which has a lot of stonework, a new pool, pavers, flag stones, a new open-air deck, etc.”
