We walked through his estimate based on our future electrical needs. We were able to negotiate on price to come to a very satisfactory dollar figure. End result was lower electrical costs that met our needs.”

“Greenbelt Design Elements (GDE) was engaged to design a landscape for our new home in Sun City Texas. Design features requested were plant materials, hardscape elements, Belgard pavers for the 800+ square foot patio, two water features and various stone varieties for ground covers throughout the project. Jason Skaggs met with us at our home and listened to our wishes and wants. During our initial meeting Jason offered guidance and options as we jointly developed a concept. Our concept was unique to the area as we wanted a more contemporary focus to our xeriscape. The final design was presented and incorporated not only our initial wants list but numerous enhancements to the initial concept. Our project is now complete and we are amazed at the transformation. All of our expectations were easily exceeded. GDE is clearly a very competent design firm that is quite capable of creating a design that meets even the most complicated/unique elements. We highly recommend Jason Scaggs and his firm Greenbelt Design Elements.”

As an arborist, i always am respectful of designers that put the trees upfront in their process. I personally was particularly impressed with their capacity to merge the clients needs with the functions and plant palette and come out with a project that works and has character. “I used Thrive to design a total redo of my front and back yard. I wanted to respect the fact we live in a water challenged area without my yard being simply all rock. Travis listened to all of my wishes including providing more seating area, color, privacy, some of my favorite plant material and the attracting of hummingbirds. Travis was responsive by phone and e mail and the design work was completed on time. I have had many compliments on my new landscape from friends and neighbors out for walks. And, most importantly, I am thoroughly enjoying my new yard.”

“It was a great pleasure working with Philip. We had interviewed well over a dozen landscapers / landscape architects before coming across Philip's site on the internet. None of the others could seem to envision a unique, compelling solution to our lawn. The minute he came out, we knew we had found someone different. Someone who could apply their creativity, vision and expertise to our backyard. Philip's plan was truly unique while also meeting all of our goals (reduced water use, increased structure, low maintenance, kid friendly, etc.) Philip was a pleasure to work with. The result is a truly stunning backyard that met every objective we set out and exceeded our expectations. Even as the plan evolved through installation, Philip remained flexible and able to accommodate changing requests. In the end, the project is a complete success. We love our new backyard. I highly recommend Philip to anyone considering a landscaping project.”
