“I found Dean was very helpful and very honest. The front of my house was a mess, the bay window sills were crumbled away and paint was flaking off. Dean explained that he would have to rebuild sills, sand, fill and paint. I'm very happy, he insisted on giving 2 coats of paint even though I was happy with one. I wish Dean well for the future and I have lots more jobs for him. Very skilled man thank you.”

We noticed he was constantly checking to see if the paving was level and if he wasn’t satisfied he relaid it again. “I have absolutely loved working with Amber. We decided to use a garden designer as we don't know enough about plants, what they like and where they should go, and also how to put them together. The process of working with Amber has been amazing - she's talked us through our likes and dislikes, come back with some initial ideas, which between us we've solidified into a final design. She guided us with mood boards, plant ideas, garden structure and has looked at every element of the design, including lighting. The drawings are so through and professional and she's given us copies which show how the plants will look in flower, evergreen and separate drawings for the structures, plus suggestions on materials, lights and everything! I had no understanding of how involved the process would be but Amber's knowledge, professionalism and enthusiasm has made working with her an absolute pleasure. I can't recommend her highly enough and can't wait to see our garden come to life! :)”

“Dominic Stone of Bottle Kiln Design first provided a garden design and install contract at my previous property Old Engine Farm, Ashover Derbyshire in the early 1980's. I moved to Derry House, Matlock in 1997. I again sought Dominic out to provide a complete garden design and install, first in the late 1990's and again a more recently to refresh the original scheme with new paving to rear areas and to pave the original tarmac drive plus to lay significant surface water drainage channels and pipes.
The experience I have of Dominic and his company is beyond excellent in terms of design expertise, product knowledge, installation skill, prompt work scheduling and commitment to his customer. His pricing has always been in my view realistic. In terms of his personal integrity, from the considerable experience I have had over a prolonged period of time it is beyond question, one hundred percent reliable.”

Looking back at photographs of the work being done at the beginning of 2018 it is hard to remember not having this space in our garden.
