“I originally contacted Karleen Shafer to help me with a design for my small backyard, which was used for parking, and completely overgrown with weeds and concrete debris from a torn down garage. Knowing nothing about landscaping or planting, Karleen provided me with two designs and photos of plantings that would work well for an inexperienced gardner. She was attentive to my requirements: a space to park two cars, a patio for entertaining, space for a gas grill, something aesthetically pleasing, and plantings that would be easy for me to maintain. I was so happy with the final design that I also had Karleen and her crew do the installation. This was a late fall installation, and her crew worked around rainy and cold weather to complete the project. She and her crew were respectful and trustworthy. The final layout was beautiful - a flagstone patio for entertaining, a gravel pathway to the tool shed, and a variety of tall grasses, bushes and plants integrated with the hardscaping. I received tons of compliments from family, friends, and neighbors! It was a total transformation and I have enjoyed entertaining and maintaining it for several years now. Karleen stayed in touch after the installation, making sure to educate me on preparing for the cold months (e.g., cutting the grasses back) and what to do in the Spring. All-in-all, an excellent investment with an excellent company with a friendly, hands-on and committed group of landscape professionals! Would hire this company again in a heart beat! “Our designer (Mr. Rudert) really listened to our needs and came up with a design that was perfect. Basically, our backyard was a steep hill with a bunch of brush at the back. We also had drainage problems and a big tree growing into a water pipe. The team of workers were excellent and really seemed to care about getting things right, down to the smallest details. Our hydroseed got partially washed away after a torrential downpour. Although "acts of God" were not covered, they still came out and patched the yard. Now we have a backyard that is functional and beautiful. Our family loves the new space and would use Todd's again.”

“We had a evocation that included gutting our whole back yard. Mike and his team designed a patio and landscape with a plan that would be added to every year. Mike and his team were great to work with and bounce ideas off to get exactly what we wanted. They are meticulous on details, hard working, very respectful of our budget concerns and most important got the job done in a timely manner.
