“What a wonderful experience to have this company redo my back yard. From the design to the implementation, Earth, Turf & Wood was professional all the way. The existing flagstone patio was redesigned and redone. It had been installed incorrectly and after just 3 years was dangerous because of stones becoming unstable. It also was incorrectly laid and flooded every time it rained. Now it is a charming and safe place to relax. The landscaping is just awesome. My fence was pushed back and plants and trees were chosen of varying heights, flowering times, and colors. The finished yard looks exactly as the 'blueprint' does. The people who worked on my yard were all passionate about what they do, respectful of the house, mindful that their worksite was actually someone's home. They never left for the day without securing the yard so my dogs were safe, cleaning off any dust or dirt from surfaces, and putting their tools and equipment off to the sides. They worked constantly from early morning to late afternoon, stopping only for a brief lunch. No frequent smoke breaks, loud music, phone breaks, etc. Quite different from other people who have worked in my yard. Very nice guys, too, and inspirational as far as work ethics.”

“Excellent work with perfect leveling of the soil before planting. Very thorough in hydro spraying all areas evenly. All employees and owner very pleasant to deal with. Good value for the cost to have your yard seeded. Made sure there was enough moisture after recent rainfall before they would do seeding.”

“Garden Architecture worked with my wife and I to redesign everything outside the walls of our house. The work included a driveway, walks, two entrances, patio, pond, firepit, retaining walls, stormwater management (two rain gardens and an underground surge tank), site lighting and plantings. I am an architect so brought some of my own ideas to the project, good and bad. Kirsten was a great collaborator and a delight to work with. She is knowledgeable about the technical aspects of the work and a creative designer, for our project doing everything from addressing tricky grading and drainage problems to creating a beautiful environment in which we now happily spend as much time as possible.”

“Ruth has been wonderful! We hired her to help us redesign our backyard including hardscape and landscape for our mid-century home we bought two years ago. She really worked with us to understand our style and logistical needs and developed a design that was a perfect fit. She has worked with us every step of the way to make the project become a reality. We've expanded now to the front yard and she provided us with yet another wonderful design and continues to help us through the process. We highly recommend her!”

“We had a excellent relationship working with Doug and his crew. Fernhill had built a large retaining wall for our yard last year. We were more than pleased with the quality and detail in the work. We then decided to hire Fernhill for a complete redo of both our front and back yards. The project included a small retaining wall in the front, a large flagstone patio and fire pit in the back yard, planting and lighting. Doug's attention to our project and his crew's professionalism were constant from start to finish. They were timely and finished the job within the given time frame. They left each day only after cleaning up and leaving the areas they were working on neat, clean and tidy. We gave Doug the freedom to create a design that would make our yards look great and couldn’t be more pleased with his excellent and unique design. We appreciated his eye for detail and the personal touches throughout the project. We would highly recommend hiring this company.”

“We had a great experience with Indian run landscaping. This company is the perfect combination of old school face to face sales mixed with the convenience of modern day technology. I was able to schedule my initial consultation with their landscaping designer right on their website and was also able to pay my final bill online. Being a mother of 3 (and one child being a newborn) this was huge for me. Jason came up with a beautiful design for our home, always went over things in person with me, and was conveniently reachable quickly by email as well. Their install team worked hard on my property for a full day in the rain to make sure they got the job done quickly. We have gotten endless compliments on our property over the past few weeks and are thrilled with the results of their hard work. “Hosler's Homescapes did an excellent job helping us build our dream backyard. Dennis and his crew put a lot of time and dedication into our 2000' sqft patio. “We hired Woodfield Landscaping to do an outdoor bar and a pizza oven. We have had many bad experiences with contractors over the years so we initially we hesitant to undertake such a big project at the house. Woodfield has renewed our faith that good contractors exist. They worked non stop from start to finish and even on Saturdays. The stone work was flawless and far more beautiful than I could ever hope for. The lightening at night is just remarkable. We received their name from a co-worker who had the exact same experience with a project even bigger than ours. Out if the dozen contractors we have had at the house over the years they are the only ones we would recommend.”
