“We had hired South Shore Group to turn our over sized wooden deck into a easily maintained and beautiful back patio. They worked within the budget that we set forth and well within the time frame required. The workmanship is outstanding and we couldn't be happier. We would recommend using them to anyone looking for a respectable and honest landscaper and/or renovator.”

“I hired Kyle to provide some artistic renderings for our existing tennis courts complex, he was able to provide several great renderings which I used in my presentation to our board and as a result I was able to secure funding to proceed with the project. I am sure without the work Kyle did for me I would not have persuaded the board to proceed with the project. Thanks again Kyle for the great work and the timely delivery of the end product, best of luck in the future!”

“We had a fantastic experience working with Jennifer. After a quick consult, she quickly delivered a simple and elegant plan that maximized our space and helped transform our spartan backyard into a relaxing oasis. Jennifer is very intuitive and quickly grasped what we were after: a clean, west-coast inspired, low maintenance space featuring bamboo, a dining and lounge space and an outdoor fireplace. We also challenged her to obscure our backyard parking pad which she accomplished through clever tree placement and a mix of materials including an Ipe deck, 18" Indian stone and asphalt. Special thanks to Dean at Kingsway Landscape Contractors for delivering an outstanding end product. The team was quick, clean and hassle free. They were also extremely thorough and helpful in providing counsel and/or connecting us with gas and electrical service providers as needed. We're thrilled and highly recommend their services.”

“My wife and I live in a subdivision where the houses look pretty similar to one another and making your house stand out from the rest can be quite a challenge. We were tired of looking like all the rest and had seen some of the other projects Tumber and Associates had worked on and were very impressed. We hired Tumber and Associates to redesign our front landscape, and while our project was relatively small in scale, the impact was huge! We have gone from run- of the- mill to outstanding. The design even included a private seating area that we never would have thought of doing ourselves, but we use this feature often. Planting choices, hardscape materials and wood accents all contribute to a unique and visually pleasing flow to the entire front landscape. People passing by our house continually stop and comment on the beautiful transformation of our front yard. The crew that worked on our design from start to finish were knowledgeable, courteous and professional in every sense of the word. I would highly recommend this company to anyone wishing to stand out from the crowd. They provided good value and a very pleasant experience for my wife and I that we will remember for years to come.”

“We have a country property that we were completely renovating to be our permanent retirement property. We hired Fran to design the landscaping. Her work exceeded our expectations. In fact, the landscaping continues to be the favourite part of our renovation. Fran started by asking us to complete a questionnaire which would help her better understand what we were looking for. It was the most comprehensive survey I have ever completed and it really got me thinking about what we wanted. We wanted lots of colour and texture and for the landscaping to ultimately be low maintenance as we didn't plan to spend all of our retirement years in tending to the gardens. Fran' s design met all of our objectives and more. It was distinctive and innovative. She had clearly thought about how to create a unique look for us -- nothing cookie cutter here. It cleverly addressed drainage issues that had been causing problems for years. It included a stone fire pit, a wood surround for a hot tub, a greenhouse and vegetable beds and even a space to do yoga or meditate outside. We were so impressed with her work that we have since had her design the landscaping for our place in the city. This is a very different design because it is a much smaller lot and has none of the exciting add-ons that our country property did. The city property was the result of a recent downsizing. Once again, she conceived of a simple (our request) and peaceful design that is striking and distinguishes our house on the street. Since we are not clear how long we will be in the house, we were very focused on resale value and return on investment. We have almost concluded the work in the city and are once again thrilled with Fran's design. Two properties -- very different designs and both are perfect! We continue to received compliments on the country landscaping. Her work has caught the eye of a local magazine and will be included in an upcoming article. Aside from her design aesthetic, Fran is also a delight to partner with. She works to understand your vision and then is available through out the project to check on progress and to make adjustments if required. For example, we had to make some real time location adjustments when we realized that the foliage on a tree was going to impact one of the vegetable beds. The pictures that are attached are from when the landscaping had just been completed - August 2016. I know that it takes a couple of years to really mature yet this year we are blown away by how beautiful it looks. We would highly recommend Fran if you are interested in stunning designs that take into consider all your hopes and dreams. You will not be disappointed.”
