I found Dalton Quigley through his website and watched a number of his videos to get a sense of the kind of work he does. I asked for a landscape design session with him and he spent time with me walking around the house, giving suggestions and showing me a number of ideas he had for the space. Dalton tries to design spaces to fit your lifestyle, so he asks lots of questions like: "How would you like to use the space?", "Do you entertain often?", "How much maintenance/pruning do you want to do?". Once Dalton had all the info he needed he kept me updated on his progress for creating an estimate and within a week he had outlined the entire project for me. I wanted to break up the work into phases and Dalton gladly accommodated me. Once we had agreed on a schedule, work began on the first phase (stone patio/walkway) almost immediately. Nearly every day of the project, Dalton sent me pictures of his team's progress and his plans for the next day. I've never had a contractor that was as communicative with me as Dalton. I always knew what he was working on, when he'd be at the house the next morning and when he thought he might be done. I can't recommend Quigley's Landscaping highly enough.
