“We consulted with Kurzhaus Design in the planning stage of our Cape house renovation. They were extremely talented and made recommendations that we otherwise would have missed, well outside the normal contractor grade work. The planning went so well we awarded the renovation work and again the results were beyond our expectations. The craftsmanship is outstanding and to date the joints are tight and the work still looks new. I was out of the country for most of the work however found if easy to communicate with Kurzhaus on any changes. Kurzhaus was the right design build contractor for us, we have contracted them for a recent pergola addition and again the results exceeded our expectations, we would highly recommend them.”

“Our personal thanks to John Sambogna for an excellent, professional kitchen remodel which surpassed all our expectations. We’ve used John in the past for smaller projects and researched other companies for comparables but in the end we didn’t have to look too far. John is a true professional, reliable, honest and hard working. He was able to manage every aspect of the job which helped save time, gave us peace of mind and allowed us to continue our daily routine with limited interruptions. John made the process effortless with all his care and the commitment to the end results. His ability to communicate and understand our specific requests, coupled with his passion for his craft, yielded a beautiful testimony to his dedication to please his customer. Thank you, John, for transforming our dream kitchen into a reality – the 190 pound apron front sink creates a dramatic focal point that stops everyone in their tracks! We would rely on him again without any hesitation and look forward to our next project. Homeowner, West Yarmouth, MA”

“John Clark of @DesignRemodel is absolutely wonderful! Thanks to him, we now have 2 beautiful bathrooms, a laundry center, and a refurbished dining area. Our modest Cape-style home is becoming much more upscale, because his work is always meticulous. I can't wait to have him re-do our kitchen! John has done this work in 3 separate projects, spanning 3 years. The initial project took more time to plan, as John was getting to know our likes and dislikes, and as we got to know how John organizes the projects, and what kinds of materials he uses. By the third project (the gorgeous upstairs bathroom) I think we only had to spend a few hours arranging the details with John, because we had such a good sense of each other's tastes and abilities! It is easy communicating with John by email or phone to arrange all of the little details that go into these projects. John often sends suggestions as links in his emails, which makes for very efficient "shopping". One of the things I like best about John is that he will work within your budget and your personal tastes. If you want affordable yet high quality cabinets, fixtures, etc. he is familiar with the pros and cons of the major brands. John knows how the work should be done to achieve superlative results. During projects, he has incidentally found potential problems with the old windows, roof, trim, etc. on our house. He has solved the problems efficiently if they relate to the project at hand. He has also suggested ways the problems might be dealt with at a later date, in a cost-effective and timely way. If it isn't a major undertaking, he usually just fixes the problem at no additional cost, and moves ahead with the project. John is very organized! He has the project planned and the materials on hand before he begins the project. He has a trailer loaded with his tools and miscellaneous hardware, and rarely needs to interrupt his work to go to the store for a critical piece of hardware or materials. Above all, John is very considerate of the fact that people have to live in the house during the construction. He keeps the house CLEAN AND TIDY while he is doing the project. He lays down heavy paper to protect the floors where he needs to walk through the house. He vacuums up the dust and litter at the end of the day. He tries to leave the materials he is installing out of the way for as long as possible. He tries to notify everyone ahead of time when things will get noisy. I can trust John, his crew, and his contractors 100% if they are in my house when I am not there. I also trust them 100% to make things work out right when there are glitches in the construction project (and with an older home, those glitches do come up!). I recommend John Clark and @DesignRemodel without reservation!”

“Adam Hostetter guided us through an extension renovation to a family home we acquired. The project took the cottage down to the studs and required great patience on our part. Hostetter employees were always there to guide us, keep the job on schedule, and the end result was more beautiful than we imagined! Very professional, reliable and supportive employees. Top-notch company!”

“My husband and I always wanted a home office but didn’t have a dedicated space. Our living room was an awkward size and the door and window placement made the room seem lopsided since one whole side of the room was not being used. Gail came in and after a thoughtful review of the room suggested that we divide the room so that the unused portion could become an office. I couldn’t visualize it at all before she suggested it but as soon as she said it, I knew it was a perfect solution! We wanted to redo the half bathroom whose wall backed up to this portion of the living room so we decided to make it a whole project. She brought in a contractor (who was really excellent) to do the bathroom and he even put in a shower stall to make a full bath. Bonus! They constructed a wall to close off the office and it has pocket French doors which are great because I can just slide them open or close when the office is in use or someone is one the phone. Everything went smoothly with very little interruption of our daily activities, and that’s with kids and dogs! Gail swooped in and created built –in shelving and storage to match the other cabinetry in my house so I could house my law books. I am amazed at how it came out. My desk and everything went into the office and now it looks like the office has always been there and I love being able to work from home. I would highly recommend Gail and her team to anyone looking to make improvements to their home. The changes they made to my home definitely added value to it which is a plus.”

“In desperate need of extra storage space and wanting an upgrade, planning for our kitchen began. We came across Supply New England just prior to Thanksgiving. Fortunately for us, they were having a Black Friday special. After speaking with Norm and having him visit our house we were already sold. Norm was thorough, professional and had great design ideas for our kitchen. We worked with him to decide our direction and Norm went to work bringing our new kitchen to life. I can't say enough about how impressed we were. Cabinets, granite counter tops, back splash tile, sink and faucet were all ordered. When our contractor saw the detailed plans and had them reviewed with Norm, there were no questions as to what needed to be done. Needless to say, we are VERY happy with our kitchen. And the Black Friday special made our upgrade very affordable. In fact, it will bring us back for phase 2 of changes.”
