““Your new room is gorgeous!” “I love the furniture in your new room. Where did you find it?” “The colors are beautiful.” Those are only a handful of the compliments we have received on the new sun room we added on to our home. We enjoy hearing the compliments; however, the decorating credit goes to Charlotte House. During our first meeting she ascertained what we envisioned for the room i.e. what colors we liked, how the room was going to be used, etc. She listened, measured, asked questions and helped us make decisions. At no time did she ever push her own tastes or preferences. The room, she said, was to reflect my husband and me, not her. We went shopping for furniture with Charlotte who had done the leg work ahead of us. What could have been an unending task of choices, colors, styles and sizes was reduced to choices that would fit our personalities, our room and our budget. In a little under an hour we had the furniture and the light fixtures picked out. My husband really appreciated the efficiency of that experience! Working with Charlotte was like working with a trusted friend; so much so that we have asked her to help us design and decorate the bathrooms in our home. I am excited to see what she draws up for us! Gone are the days of furniture shopping on the internet and slogging through stores. All I have to do is call Charlotte.
