“I have worked with Laura since we bought our house 8 years ago. She has done an amazing job at helping us decorate to our tastes -- but at least 10x better than we could have done on our own. She's helped us understand the space, what furniture will fit in it, the colors that will work best, etc. I think she's actually saved us money because every choice is well thought out -- we do not have to later discard items that do not fit or that do not coordinate well. Laura is very efficient and professional. I cannot recommend her highly enough.”

“I hired Mary (MJM Interiors) to assist with an update of most rooms in my house, including the master bedroom, family room, living room, kitchen and office. Mary was extremely professional and responsive. She had me start by utilizing the Houzz website to assist her with looks or schemes that I liked. Once she had a better sense of what I was looking for, she was able to provide me with a number of different options at different price points, including looks I had never considered, that actually looked much better than anything I came up with. She was very patient with my questions/concerns, as well as creative with solutions that stayed well within my budget. Her attention to detail was exquisite and her responses to my large number of questions were timely and helpful. I was not looking forward to updating my house, but Mary made the process very easy and my house looks amazing. Everyone I have recommended MJM to has also been very satisfied. I would absolutely hire MJM again if I ever need additional design assistance.”

“Meredith is an amazing designer. It is apparent she loves her job. She understood my style, my needs and my budget. When I wanted an item that did not fit into my budget, she found a way to make it fit or explained to me why this would put the project over budget and found alternatives when necessary. She designed our rental condo unit in the city, which was a clean slate and our new offices for my market research company. I always felt comfortable expressing my opinion and she was always quick to change out an item if I expressed doubt about it. I believe using Meredith actually saved me money while still achieving my goals and meeting my deadlines. I can't wait to work with Meredith on my next project-a basement design.”

“We hired Michelle to help us redesign our master bath and are absolutely thrilled with the outcome. We wanted to create a spa like setting complete with a larger shower, luxury whirlpool and other creature comforts that women enjoy. Michelle came up with a stunning design that involved some changes of moving a wall, adding pocket doors and relocating some of the plumbing. Her plan included all the materials to be considered for the project and paint colors. We love the whirlpool that is large enough for two and has these fancy lights that change colors as the pool is on. Her design incorporated the existing master bedroom and she helped us with some ideas there also. Michelle is very creative, full of energy and an absolute joy to work with. There are many great designers in Chicago and she is definitely in that elite group of designers.”
