“Laurel Feldman was the interior designer and detail "go-to" person on our project. The project included gutting and re-designing the kitchen and decorating the living room, dining room and entry hall. Some of the new design consisted of opening walls in both the living room and dining room and creating a space where the kitchen is open and it all flows from one room to another. Laurel also designed a wall of built-in cabinets for the living room along with cabinetry and shelving for the dining room. She was also involved in re-designing the lighting, new flooring and removing wood paneling from the entire area. And of course...after all that...Laurel chose paint colors, wallpaper, light fixtures, furniture and accessories for our new space. Her knowledge and attention to detail enhanced all the choices she brought to us...always listening to what we wanted and making sure our thoughts balanced with the look we were envisioning. Laurel was able to help us use all our personal things that we wanted to exhibit and make our traditional favorite things work in our new mid-century modern space. She also helped us accessorize by picking some new items that soon became as comfortable to us as if we owned them forever. It was this personalization of finishing the project that made the difference. She envisioned the outdoors and surrounding ravines of our property as being part of the decor and helped us bring the outside indoors for us. It is a pleasure to come home every single day to the space that Laurel helped us create!”

“I have worked with Laura since we bought our house 8 years ago. She has done an amazing job at helping us decorate to our tastes -- but at least 10x better than we could have done on our own. She's helped us understand the space, what furniture will fit in it, the colors that will work best, etc. I think she's actually saved us money because every choice is well thought out -- we do not have to later discard items that do not fit or that do not coordinate well. Laura is very efficient and professional. I cannot recommend her highly enough.”

“We recently did a full-blown renovation of a two-story unit in a River North high rise. Leah really takes the time to understand your aesthetic and then seamlessly guides you through the process. We were completely overwhelmed with choosing bathroom finishes, kitchen finishes, flooring, lighting, wall colors, let alone furnishing our unit and Leah was there every step of the way. She is transparent, responsive, and extremely organized and makes what could be a stressful situation fun and easy. She worked very closely with our contractor and coordinated all logistics (delivery, vendors etc.) with our building. My favorite part of the process was seeing our vision come to life. We were out of town for a few weeks and Leah managed and orchestrated the entire delivery and set up of all furniture and styling of our home. After a long trip we came home to a furnished and perfectly styled home. It was such a treat! Leah truly is one of a kind and we can't recommend her enough.”

“After 35+ years in the same house, it was time to downsize and I couldn't have managed the task without Wendy's support each step of the way. Not only did she assist in determining which existing pieces would work in the smaller unit, she was immensely helpful in choosing the finishes for the new place, filling in with purchased pieces and the overall design and feel of my new residence. The final product allowed me to have a fresh start in a new place that immediately felt like home due to Wendy's amazing attention to detail for color, style, comfort and design. She is professional in every sense meeting both deadlines and budgetary requests. $100/hour rate was a tremendous value for the service and expertise that Wendy provided She has an innate talent for pulling together myriad layers in a space to create a warm, elegant and cohesive home that is a true reflection of its owner. It was a pleasure working with Wilk & Rusch Design Group.”
