“Scott and I have been so so pleased with the help Laurie has given us in decorating our home. Laurie is very creative, fun to work with, and has amazing colour sense. She recently helped us bring cohesiveness to our large high ceiling "great" room. A dining and sitting space with a wood stove, that was disjointed and lacking warmth and coziness; is now just the opposite. Reclaimed ceiling tin was found, stripped, and then antiqued , and mounted to hang beautifully on our chimney. A one of a kind art piece that visitors to our house keep admiring. An area rug, a round end table that Laurie did a "tea" stain on, a fabric covered coffee table with custom legs that Laurie designed and stained, a mirror, and pillows; are all items that she brought in. Function was considered, not just the aesthetics. Also our house was built in the 1950's; decorating was tastefully done in keeping with the general look of the whole house. In a nutshell. I'd use Leclair-hyett again in a heartbeat! Many, many thanks!!! Helen”

Suzanne was extremely helpful in keeping us on track with our continuity of design, making sure that all our elements related to one another, from the cabinetry, tile and lighting down to the fixtures and colour scheme. She really helped us see how we could pull new elements and modernity into our existing home and make it all work together with our existing pieces. Suzanne has great ideas, is mindful of budget, and has a very sharp eye that she uses to find just the right accent to make everything work. Always a calm and reassuring presence, Suzanne was a delight to work with and we learned a lot from her during the process.”
