“Chris and Claire were awesome to work with! They took a bunch of random, conceptual ideas and turned them into a really interesting and beautiful design. In addition to an excellent presentation, they also provided really good supporting detail, with lots of different ideas and ways to go with it. It was especially a pleasure to work with them! “Gillian is a very approachable designer who really takes the time to learn what your style likes and dislikes are. She provides names and contacts of reliable tradies and firms, and is involved in the process all the way. It was Gillian who introduced me to the fabulous Houzz site, and together we built up a style file for the lounge area and the bathroom and powder room. She was able to liaise with the plumber so that we could understand what he meant with all the technical specs, and went around with him to make sure we were getting what we wanted when he came to measure and quote. Although we have not yet started the bathroom renovation, we have updated our kitchen dining area and it looks fantastic. I thoroughly recommend her services.”

“We have been great fans of Beachwood furniture and homewares since we first moved down to the Northern Beaches 20 years ago. So when it came time to knock down our old house and rebuild our ‘dream home’ we immediately thought of using Beachwood to help us on our interiors. We wanted stylish but casual to suit the waterfront location and Florence Fleming of Beachwood helped us achieve that goal perfectly. Florence was an absolute delight to work with, always listening to our thoughts and needs, and helped us choose furniture, fabrics, rugs and homewares that complemented each room beautifully. Several tables and sofas were also beautifully designed and custom-made to our requirements by Beachwood. We could not be more pleased with the result and would recommend Florence and Beachwood’s services to anyone looking to achieve a stylish but relaxed feel to their home. Best regards Sue”

“I first hired Joanne at Billyhoo to help me plan how to use the space in my lounge dining kitchen areas for a full renovation of my townhouse. She listened to all my ideas and concerns and came up with an excellent plan, the design theme and the colour scheme. I was so relieved to find someone who listened and was respectful of my ideas. She then developed a kitchen plan - see the photo. I love my new kitchen. It has transformed my living space. Joanne is now helping me plan a new bathroom and laundry sympathetic to the kitchen. What I appreciate most is her ability to draw out my ideas and put them into a concrete design, that I can contact her with issues along the way and that she came with me to choose some products eg the beautiful tiles in my kitchen splashback. My friends are so impressed with my renovations and how she helped me use the limited space in a townhouse. Thanks.”
