“We hired Better Builders to remodel our lower level living space and the results are better than we could have imagined. From start to finish, Better Builders was professional and easy to work with. The communication was clear, updates were consistent, and they showed up when they said they would. The quality of the work is excellent and the attention to detail really stood out. The demo was down to the studs and concrete. They handled everything from the ground up, including floor leveling, new ductwork, plumbing, and electrical with a new panel. Even when we ran into a couple unexpected issues behind the walls, they explained the options and handled the fixes quickly. They managed the timeline well and coordinated trades superbly. The workmanship is exceptional and the finishing details are what we notice most—edges, trim, paint lines, and overall consistency. They didn’t just ‘get it done’; they made sure we were satisfied with the final walkthrough. One of my favorite parts is the large new window—the amount of natural light it brings in completely changes the space. The layout also came out exactly how I hoped: the small kitchen is the perfect size and works beautifully for day-to-day living, without feeling cramped. Overall, we’re thrilled with the transformation. They delivered a complete, functional, and thoughtfully designed lower level that now feels truly like its own home. We’d recommend them to anyone planning a remodel.”

“Silver Peak completed two separate projects as part of renovating a 65 year old home we recently purchased. Both projects were primarily carpentry work involved either rebuilding exterior walls and replacing windows where water damage was extensive enough from years of neglect that framing, sheeting and exterior siding all needed to be replaced, or new construction to enlarge the kitchen where the significant structural changes required design and permitting processes. The main challenges of both projects involved addressing the unknowns of what damage and surprises existed behind the walls. While a detailed design or sketch existed as a basis of the bid before the work was stared, at least half the work had to be field engineered once the initial demolition was done. The lead carpenter was very experienced at remodeling in this environment. Productivity was always excellent. He came prepared with the tools, the materials, and the help he needed every day, and detailed the following days progress before leaving at the end of the day.”

The natural wood cabinets, big island with marble top, and modern lighting gave our space a clean, warm look we love. Everything was done neatly and on time.
