“We have worked regularly with MH Costa for over 10 years and are always extremely pleased with the attention to detail the team exhibits whilst working on site and the high-quality finish that is delivered. Most of the work we do is predominantly on Listed Buildings, requiring things to be done in a very specific manner and within tight constraints, and MH Costa have proven themselves to be more than up to the task. By keeping most of their trades in house, and sub-contracting only specialist items and finishes, MH Costa are able to maintain a greater control over cost, timings, finishes and the finer details of a design – having their own in-house joinery workshop is a massive benefit too! MH Costa communicate well, and are very collaborative, throughout each project we have worked with them. When faced with an unexpected site condition or issue, MH Costa have always been proactive in working with us to find a solution and try and keep the project on track and on budget. Their work is always undertaken in a very professional manner, and are great at liaising with the neighbours throughout a project, keeping them appraised of any particularly noisy works and accommodating requests to minimise the impact on them – something that our clients are always very appreciative of! If something is wrong, they put it right without question. On our experience, we would recommend MH Costa to any client seeking a contractor capable of a high-quality finish with a keen attention to detail. We have always worked well with them and look forward to doing so again in the future.”

“We are in the final stages of revamping a recent purchase in Nice, France working with Mark and his team at Callender Howorth. It has been a delight to work with Mark and his associates. At each step of the way, Mark, Nathalie and Jade have been nothing less than professional, competent, and really a delight to collaborate with. They have found really lovely and unique pieces that make our place sparkle. The construction work that has been done so far (a bathroom refresh, painting and repairing plasterwork and walls, electricity, etc) all have been to the highest standards. We are looking forward to seeing the final completed project and to settle in to our new place. We would not hesitate to recommend Callender Howorth for your design needs.”

“The team was exceptional, mainly because they worked so well together, not simply to complete the works, which were a full scale renovation of a 1000sq ft flat, including - redesign to semi-open plan - totally new electrics/plumbing - underfloor heating - new kitchen and shower rooms - flooring, ceilings and hidden lighting - but also doing so in such a positive and professional manner. The renovation required a full redesign of the flat, with all the controls that such a redesign involves. In turning the design into reality there will always be challenges to overcome. Gabriel, together with Lukas, controlled and managed the various different tradespeople and control agencies involved and throughout maintained for us, the client, a sense of confidence, a sense that 'it will be done'. From the very start, Gabriel designed the renovation giving suggestions and taking account of our ideas, the outcome of which was something we are delighted with and with which it is easy to live. He has maintained contact and we are confident of his continued interest in the work, indeed he has assisted us to deal with one suppliers product which failed, after several months, well after the snagging period had completed.”
