“This is the first house we have built from scratch. Allen could not have been more professional, helpful, and above all patient. From day one till now, about 70% complete, Allen has been extremely easy to work with. While he doesn't spoon feed us, he will give his honest opinion if he thinks we might be making a mistake. He has been very easy to contact, gets back to us immediately, posts pictures of the progress (very handy for us since we live several hours away) and answers each and every question regardless of how moronic they may be. The quality of materials and the workmanship are both top notch. He has set and maintained a tight schedule while keeping us apprised the entire time. I would recommend Allen to anyone looking for a great building experience.”

“Our experience with TCG Montana was outstanding..... Our project, a messy remodel of an existing "charming" old cabin presented all the classic challenges you would expect to see in a homemade poorly constructed original building. Patience, innovation, and an eye on unique details were necessary skills to have which Cory Jones (project manager) and Ty Barrow (on site) definitely had. First and foremost both are very good guys, hard workers and honest.....As an "anal" architect I am well aware of the importance of working with people who can collaborate on a tough project as well as having a high level of craft/skill which Ty does. Many of the design moves I incorporated into the renovation were unique and not what you typically see in everyday construction...both Cory and Ty were enthusiastic about the ideas and wanted to make them better, often times their ideas improved something I was already thinking. I also very much appreciated their willingness to ask questions so they would get it right knowing I am somewhat insane about details. Cory was very transparent with hours spent (we used a Time and Materials cost approach) and always was willing to answer any billing questions I had. Again, a great experience, with a high level of quality on a very challenging project. I will be using them in the future..........”

“Shan is an exceptional craftsman and energy efficient builder. I was on a number of his jobs and his work was above and beyond the quality of anyone else in the area. I highly recommend Shan and would use his services if I was building. I was a supplier to Shan for a number of years of prefabricated building systems and materials. I visited most construction sites and Shan built some exceptional homes of complex design. Shan was always competent, very professional, detail oriented, and honest. “Craig is a consummate craftsman, builder and professional. He swiftly reviewed our desired home structural design and worked collaboratively with my wife and me to incorporate our desired high end craftsman style exterior and interior of a recycled timber frame house. He worked closely with the time frame designer and provider and supervised his outstanding team of subcontractors with aplomb. We were not living near our home during the building process and he kept us well informed of when certain items or styles needed to be selected or when one of us needed to be present to ensure steady progress. His attention to detail, foresight and experience resulted in timely completion and polished results within forecasted estimates.”
