Minchew and Company
Civil Engineers & General Contractors in Georgia.
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars19 September 2013
“Steve Minchew does an excellent job of making the customer happy! We have only used the Minchews for one project so far but plan to hire them for all of our home improvement needs. We had a master bathroom without a vent fan for 20 years and another bathroom vent fan that wasn't doing the job. They put in a vent fan that is powerful and efficient in both baths, dealing with the ducts in the attic and roof. They scheduled the visit and were timely and charged exactly what was in the estimate. You know that there are not going to be any surprises and that the work will be well done. When we called to question the origin of a stain on the ceiling they immediately let us know that whatever the problem they would take care of it. It turned out that it had nothing to do with their work. We have talked with two other families who are thrilled with the work that was done by Minchew and Company.”

“Provided a specific estimate of work to be done, then, they showed up to begin as stated. The crew was very courteous & considerate of the home. They were repairing both inside & outside. I was so impressed with the way that they left everything clean & orderly at the end of each work day. Upon completion, everything inside was returned to its rightful place. The repairs were most professional. They were very knowledgeable, respectful & orderly. They began on time, stayed within budget & met the completion deadline. They also did a couple of small extra items at no additional cost. For a bad experience ( storm damage) , they were a very positive result. I have recommended them to a couple of friends already & will definitely use them again as the need arises.”

Stryant Construction

“I have used Stryant Construction for many projects on my home. Floor refinishing, bathroom remodel and home reconstruction when a tree fell and split my house in half. Working with Atticus LeBlanc and his team has been a joy even in a time of great stress and uncertainty. He and his team are consistently professional, talented, ethical, friendly and a genuinely caring group. They have integrity and they are highly trustworthy. I would recommend Atticus and the Stryant Construction team to anyone.”
BCM London Inc.

“The overwhelming majority of reviews highlight all of the good and true things about B.C.M. London, Inc. and I will try to summarize here:1. Professional from beginning to end2. Highest level of customer service (promptly responsive to our many initial inquiries as well as the follow-up on punch-list at the end)3. Quality of work is exemplaryAs a detail-oriented person, I was extremely diligent in making the choice of which company to select for remodeling our 'already finished' basement. I requested and got quotes from multiple companies and ruled them in or out based on their responses. Salar Sayari came to our home, listened intently to the same description that I gave to all potential contractors (absolutely essential for apples-to-apples comparison), and prepared a quote based on our requirements. There was considerable back-and-forth between us and the finalists before we selected B.C.M. London, Inc. as our choice. The end result is justification for all of the preliminary efforts. What was done:1. Demo/removal of two built-in bookshelves and drywall repair2. Removal of Murphy Bed and drywall repair3. Complete bathroom renovation from tub and cabinet sink to pedestal sink and tiled, glass-enclosed shower4. Conversion of 'kitchenette' cabinetry to entertainment/bar area, including replacing backsplash, painting of cabinets and installation of LED lighting5. Build of floor-to-ceiling library on three walls of a u-shaped room6. Installation of internet cable and speaker wires for media room7. Complete painting of all walls, ceilings, doors, and trim8. Installation of both carpet and hardwood flooring9. Replacement of five ceiling fansA sizable renovation involving a lot of different trades, all coordinated and overseen by Salar. Further, Salar's demeanor was most impressive, listening carefully to all of our questions and explaining what our options were and how he could best address them. Professional, polite, a can-do attitude, and making us feel that he wanted us to be completely satisfied - you can't ask for more from a contractor. The project was not entirely hiccup-free - but whenever we saw something that was not what we wanted/expected, Salar was quick to make sure it was addressed. As a general rule, anyone looking to do a basement build/renovation should always check as much information as possible to make sure sufficient and pertinent data is being used to make the contractor selection. When available, also look for any photos of completed projects, whether posted online in a gallery on the company's website, or directly ask the contractor if any are available for viewing on a tablet or laptop. Salar was quick to show us examples of previous work and used those examples as idea generators for our project. The highest recommendation for a contractor is whether or not they have repeat clients. It is our intention to have another project queued up for the spring of 2017 and B.C.M. London, Inc. will once again be selected for bidding.”

Level Craft Construction

“I don't imagine it happens very often when someone has zero complaints about their contractor. This is one such case. From day one, Virginia and Debbie of Level Craft have been responsive, attentive, and focused on our project. We've yet to experience any gaps between subs -- in fact, there have been only one or two days total when someone hasn't been at our house working, so we've enjoyed efficient, noticable progress each week. Virginia and Debbie know their stuff and, more importantly, know how to execute a beautiful build. Highly recommend!”

“I could not write a recommendation that would sufficiently describe how highly I recommend this company. I had Vladimir and his team remodel my kitchen, living room, dining room and half bath. I can honestly say that there was not one thing that went wrong. Everything that I showed him was executed exactly as I had planned. This is a quality guy who does phenomenal work. You will not be disappointed!”
Jill of all Trades GA, LLC

“Kristen and her workers Leo and Marvin are excellent to work with. Her subs are also extremely good, especially her tile people as they are true craftsman. We researched and interviewed several contractors before selecting Jill of All Trades. The great thing about Kristen is she loves her job and wants to make sure you are totally satisfied, and with me that is no small task. She is anal and OCD and more picky than you will likely be assuring you will wind up with a deliverable that you will be happy with. What impressed me the most was her willingness to collaborate on some tough decisions and being open to suggestions. Some of her prices may seem a tad higher than her competition, but that is because she goes above and beyond to make sure she delivers top quality. She does not nickel and dime you and actually did far more than she should have in some areas to make sure we would be satisfied with everything. We total gut and remodel of kitchen, and 2 a 1/2 bathrooms as well as stair railing and painting. At least 2/3 of our home was renovated and you could not ask for a better finished product without paying a high end custom home builder to build things to your exact specifications. I have no regrets about using her and will use her for future projects and recommend you look no further and call her for your project!”
