“Mike Broglie applies a unique set of skills - first, he connects really well on the big picture with the owner, architect, designer(s), and, later on, the county inspectors. As our project went forward, it became evident that he cared as much about the quality of the out-of-sight elements of a project (behind the wallboard, crawl space, attic, the set-up of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) as he does about visible design. Second, Mike is fully capable and licensed as a contractor in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, tile and granite, and can spot short-cuts or errors being made by on-site contractors before problems are finalized. He communicates well all the way through the project - with workers, contractors, architect, and owners. In our case, we found ourselves voluntarily inserted in project design and planning. Mike steered our decision making giving us time to research possibilities then select vendors and finally order product in plenty of time to meet his construction schedule. In other cases Mike works directly with architects if his client chooses this approach. Mike was on site every day - often working alongside the "trades" - thus eliminating almost all errors. Mike is respectful to a fault - invests full use of his time when he is on the job. He does care about efficient and environment-friendly systems. He is equally comfortable with projects that are "high end" and those that are more modest. He follows up on all projects to correct any problems that emerge whether there were flaws in the equipment or mistakes in installation. He stands by his work.”
