“Great Northern redesigned and replaced an entire wall of windows and French doors in my living room. Although they usually build very large houses I was lucky enough to persuade Tom Birmingham, the owner, to do this work for me. I couldn't be happier. Tom always goes the extra mile to make you happy. His crew is excellent and I never had a concern because Tom was always there to answer my questions thoroughly. He is not inexpensive but his work is top quality and he stands behind his work. If there is a problem he makes it right with no questions asked.”

“We chose Borkovetz Bulders for a major addition/remodel to our existing home. After interviewing several builders and sending our plans out for bids Tom Borkovetz stood out. He was professional, listened to our vision of what we wanted. He and his family have been in the construction business for 3 generation and clearly build a quality product. Under extreme winter conditions this year the project started. Toms brother Gene was on site every day to oversee the project. The crew worked outside in -10 degree weather to get the building closed in arriving before the sun was up each day. Tom and Gene had many suggestions to enhance the project and help us make the correct choices as we chose styles, finishes and trim products. Sub contractors were coordinated by the builder and were all prompt and worked well with the building crew. Billing and change orders were presented on a monthly schedule with a meeting and review each month. The quality of the work was exceptional. The crew was wonderful and we would recommend them to any one looking for a quality builder”

“JAR Builders of Egg Harbor was a great company to work with. They were professional, hardworking and their carpenters are very skilled. Above that they were respectful of our neighbors, patient with our lack of understanding of certain processes, and willing to work with us on changes during the project while keeping our budget in mind.
