“Mike painted most of the interior of my house. He was very professional in all respects from the signing of the contract through completion. He repaired several coats of peeling and cracked plaster resulting from a leak (prior to new roof) from the attic into the living room ceiling. The job is so perfect that there is no longer any evidence of the leak. He helped me pick out colors and suggested a couple of color changes resulting in a more attractive appearance than if I had insisted on my original choice. He even replaced two ceiling light fixtures as well. I highly recommend Mike Garman for your painting needs!”

“Nest Construction Took my plain, boring deck area and transformed it into a fantastic outdoor living space. The owner, Bryan, and his team constructed bush and tree planters, privacy screens, and couches. Bryan stayed within the agreed-upon budget and the work is very high quality. I would recommend Nest Construction for all types of patio/deck work as well as interior carpentry projects.”

“Contracted with Gerry to design a fireplace mantel. He was extremely helpful in providing his expertise in design, suggestions for stain, & finishing. His work is outstanding! “We hired Eric at Nelson Custom Builders, to finish our unfinished basement. Approximately 1100 sq ft. While their proposal was not the least expensive, the quality from day one is truly remarkable. Eric is very creative and not only allows for changes, but works with your ideas and his experiences to enhance your original plans to the next level. He does not nickel and dime you either. If the change does not cost more he does not charge you, if there are changes, he is fair and does not have a set price for moving those or adding that. The crew shows up each and every day as planned, and clean up the entire work area at the end of each day. There's no smoking in his work sites and assures that his crew is respectful. The project is done on time and he continually let's you know if there are any cost changes. Our basement exceeded any expectations we had. We have referred Eric and Nelson Custom Builders onto our friends and their stories are identical to ours and are so happy with their projects. I have used them on at least 2-3 other remodeling/fix up projects. When we redo our master bathroom shortly, there will be only one phone call and that will be to Eric!”

“PT Professional Carpentry is a fabulous team of builders and master carpenters. I have used them on several of my own projects as well as many professional jobs with my interior design firm. They are meticulous and do everything to perfection. The millwork is stunning and affordable as well as durable. Peter and Tom are both wonderful to work with as a client and as a colleague. They are incredibly knowledgable in all aspects of construction and can do any kind of job from a restaurant to a huge home to a small bathroom remodel. Their versatility, organization, and professionalism is impressive. I always look forward to having them on the jobs I'm working on because I can trust the quality to be spectacular and cost to be very reasonable. On top of that, they are very personable and thoughtful. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Chicago area doing construction or custom millwork.”
