“So impressed with the service from PDD - very fast turnaround and highly professional drawings. Edd did our drawings for planning permission and our building regs, and all went smoothly. I’m currently sat in the extension he designed and it’s absolutely brilliant . A* service”

“Proctor Watts Cole Rutter provided a complete architectural service for our Grade II listed farm house from discussing and producing initial design ideas and dealing with planning and conservation issues to fully project managing the job”

“We employed Milton Architects to help us with a major (for us) project in transforming our rather quirky 1911 house. The project took c10 months and we made it more difficult for the architects and contractors by choosing to live in different corners of the house while work carried on around us. We are delighted with the end result. Mike Milton brought many innovative elements to the overall design and equal emphasis was placed on the practical considerations such as construction, plumbing, electrics and sourcing. The project incorporated constructional changes, renovations and improvements, two new extensions and a few demolitions. MA handled the project management very well, first through Mike and then his colleague Ros Leverett. The project - having allowed for the constraints and problems encountered along the way (asbestos, rotten timbers, crumbling foundations ...) was very close to the original budget and timescale, and the interactions with the construction company exemplary. So in conclusion we are very pleased to recommend Milton Architects highly and unreservedly for any project remotely similar to our own.”

“John took our ideas for a new kitchen extension and developed the plans and proposal so that we gained planning permission without any issues. John also attended the parish council planning meeting to ensure there were no issues at this stage. With his help and guidance a specification was developed from which we were able to have a number of contractors bid, going on to select one to complete the build. Although we knew exactly what we wanted out of this project we initially had trouble engaging builders before we started working with John, due to the unusual construction methods being used. With John’s expertise, advice and attention to detail on-board the project was completed and we have been enjoying the kitchen extension for the last six months.”

“Matt was calm and capable. I approached him to help with designs for a side return extension in a fairly typical, slightly wonky victorian terrace. He did a great job of explaining things and talking me through what was possible vs what was viable! He was also responsive to queries and completed work in good time. The outcome has been a space transformed from dark and pokey to light and open. He suggested sliding doors instead of bifolds to optimise the view and I love them. Doing an extension can be stressful but it has transformed how I live. Matt's design - optimising light via a large panel of glass in the ceiling and big sliding doors makes such a difference despite being north facing.”

“I was recommended to e-ten by a friend who had been impressed with their service. I found Jonathan Nuth to be an intelligent and practical man who both listened to his client and thought laterally around the brief. His presentation of the planning application was such that we had no objections to our proposals and received approval without difficulty.”

“Highly recommended! Alex meticulously devised our rear extension plan, providing comprehensive explanations for every facet of the planning process. His guidance has been instrumental, directing us on when and whom to contact at various stages of the project.”

“After interviewing 2 (boring) architects, James Fowler was the last meeting of the day! We nearly chased him down the street when he left. His building knowledge, enthusiasm, energy and ideas far outshone anyone else’s. Over the following year, we worked with James, Rob Ben and Peter. All were fantastic! The level of professionalism, organisation and knowledge was second to none. I was warned that you would “fall out with your architect or builder”. This couldn’t be further from the truth. We received the highest standard of customer service and expertise. Every part of our large building project was dealt with perfectly and we felt very looked after every step of the way. I would highly recommend Fowler’s and have recommended them already to several people. We would use them again in the future. Thank you to them for making such a big project very stress free. “The glamour and excitement of New York in the middle of Wiltshire. That is how one of our friends has described the copper and glass addition to our 500 year old rural farmhouse. We couldn’t be happier. Our brief was for something special, something as far from pastiche as possible, but still practical as a family home, and that is certainly what we’ve achieved. From our initial meeting Jonny has listened and taken the essence of our ideas and run with them. We’ve felt involved with the project and very much part of a team creating something unique. Jonny’s approach from design, through build to completion has been inclusive, open, transparent and importantly resulted in a space and a home that lifts the soul.”
