“What they did was beyond our expectation. They spent a lot of time on truly understanding our lifestyle and needs, and introduced the “aging-in-place” concept. The scheme looks beautiful, detailed, and innovative. They did a good job on bringing out the potential of our house, which has great views to the lake. The new great room looks spacious and full of natural light. As their concept proposed, it will be vacation at home for us. Yang and Suping are delightful to work with. They are good at communicating their design. Since I’m not familiar with reading drawings, they used 3d models/images to help me understand, even a VR glass to help me visualize the rooms.”

“Bob designed our home. After 10 years I still love it and can't imagine living any where else. He turned our 1960 Tri-level into an open , full of character timeless home. His vision was unbelievable . The roof was taken off and we have an upper deck off our bedroom. We have vaulted ceilings, mahogany alcove bench in bedroom too. I could only load 4 pictures so I did one wall of the kitchen, the stone fireplace in family room open to kitchen, the hallway and sinks in master bathroom. Even though it cost a little over $100,000, the value increased over $200,000. I don't have a McMansion looking house like all others with no hardwood on 2nd floor and no laminate and vinyl cheap stuff. Please forgive the mess and lack of decorating skill, but here are some pictures.”

Tucker Architects, Inc.

“We had Mr. Tucker design a ground floor master suite addition of about 800 sq. ft. to our about 1800 sq. ft. 2 story abode comprised of a large walk in closet, a commodious master bath, and a large bedroom with integral sitting area. The addition of a hall way to connect the addition to the balance of the house had the beneficial effect of adding a breakfast "nook" to our previously renovated kitchen and a third informal "owner's" entrance to the house. One of the important design goals was to preserve my wife's ability to observe and enjoy the park like back yard/garden and the birds therein from the kitchen and the bedroom. Another goal was that the addition not appear to be just a box stuck onto the side of the existing house. The main design criteria was to provide a ground floor living environment so we can maintain our independent living arrangement to the end. Bill's design hit he mark on all accounts and we are thoroughly satisfied with it and quite comfortable in it. The neighbors and drive bys have all been quite complementary, also.”

“Mike Garcia Construction has had the pleasure of working with Dave Guy since 1997. He has the ability to balance both design and cost. He will work with you to take your ideas and make them a reality while guiding you to make wise decisions that will affect the cost to build.”
