“My husband and I purchased a new home and we were struggling to understand what to do to make our kitchen both functional and beautiful. We reached out to Laura at Atelier 2181 and she responded that very day. She came to the house, took pictures and asked questions about our needs as well as how we though we would use the space. Soon after she sent us 2 great options. We chose from that, made small changes and started the process of building with a contractor. We can't believe how easy Laura made it. It seemed to us to be overwhelming and yet to Laura she took everything in stride. In record time and many emails and calls later we have our dream kitchen we love! Our fear was we had not lived in the house yet so we wondered if there would be any regrets. Today,7 months later and we can say with certainty that its everything and more we could have dreamed of. She helped us make our house and home! Laura was instrumental in this journey and it was a pleasure working with someone so professional. She always got back to us even for the smallest of questions and without a doubt we could not have done this without her. “We had no prior relationship with Oakwood, but were impressed with the quality of staff that we dealt with, from the first contact through to the finished renovation. We needed a variance to be allowed to obtain the proper permits and John Liptak, owner of Oakwood was instrumental in obtaining this on our behalf. Without his personal interest in our renovation, we would not have proceeded with the project. John also gave us the benefit of his years of experience with various suggestions for our room. Our design specialist was wonderful, offering many unique ideas for us to consider, always offering various solutions to meet our budget. We particularly love the windows and paneling in our great room. The quality of the work was top notch. The wood craftsman assigned to our project did an exceptional job on the ceiling beams and the paneling. Dave’s work makes this room so beautiful and unique. The project manager was very knowledgeable and worked on our behalf to make sure that all the little details were dealt with to our satisfaction. Trent was very responsive to our needs and concerns. We can speak to Oakwood’s integrity and professionalism. They wanted the addition to be a room that we would be take pleasure and pride in for many years to come. We truly marvel at the room each day when we enter it. We are very satisfied with our experience and relationship with Oakwood.”

“Nous avons fait appel aux services de Rita Ghoche à l'automne après avoir hésité sur la question: 'prenons nous un architecte ou un désigner de maison?' Avec de très bons arguments , nous avons accepté de payer un peu plus pour avoir beaucoup plus. Nous ne regrettons en rien notre choix. Elle nous est arrivée avec de très bonnes idées, trois choix de plans de maison. Un, nous plaisait plus que les deux autres pour différentes raisons. Elle a bien cerné nos désirs , après nous avoir demandé ce que l'on voulait vraiment et lui montrant des photos en exemple de votre site Houzz , elle a bien visualisé nos goûts. Notre projet est toujours en cours, on prévoit y entrer à l'automne. Inutile de vous dire que nous avons bien hâte d'habiter notre maison de rêve, rien de moins. “Nous avons eu les services de Madame Nathalie Poirier et son équipe pour planifier le rajeunissement de façade de notre maison fin d'été 2020. Écoute attentive et créative, celle-ci a présentés 2 scénarios, tous deux adaptés à nos attentes. Fait à noter leur "coup de cœur" a été le même que le nôtre, ce qui démontre leur sensibilité à reconnaître ce que, bien souvent, nous ne savons même pas nous-même. J'aurais mis "5" mais comme les travaux ne se font qu'en 2021, on se garde une petite réserve!”

“10/10+ Fin 2019-début 2020, Veronique Geoffroy nous a offert un service exceptionnel de design, de gestion de travaux de rénovation (notamment l'identification de matériaux haut de gamme à prix des prix très compétitifs) et de staging liés à la vente de notre maison. Services impeccables et très attentionnés, et conseils des plus judicieux. Le tout a résulter en un effet "wow" des plus impressionnants nous ayant permis de vendre notre propriété en une journée (offres multiples avec surenchères) et $15,000 au-delà du prix estimé par notre agente immobilière (une première pour notre agence pour ce secteur de Gatineau). Je recommande très fortement les services de Veronique et prévoit refaire appel à ses services pour la rénovation et le redesign de notre condo à Ottawa.”
