“After meeting with several architects, I hired Derek from DA Drafting & Design to do all the architectural drawings for submission to the City of Pickering for my 3000+ square foot custom build. My project was a huge success, due largely in part to Derek's experience and professionalism. He sincerely cares about his clients needs and his work. He saved me thousands of dollar by suggesting subtle changes that would not only enhance the design, but would allow for easier execution when it came to the actual building process. “Working with Heather was a pleasure. She was attentive to our needs and developed strategies that made the design, construction and process easier. Our contractor said he had never worked with a better set of drawings! As a designer myself, I always find that there are things I wish I had done differently as soon as a project in my own space is complete. However, this was not the case after working with Heather. We are so happy with the end result. We were fortunate that our work was done pre-pandemic. Having the extra space was essential.”

“We are currently planning a large renovation project in our home. Elizabeth met with us to ascertain our requirements then created a plan, continuously revising it, resulting in a plan that we think is exactly what we had hoped for and better in many regards. She made suggestions that we hadn't thought of and communicated the feasibility of our "wish list" with the expertise required. Elizabeth is professional, knowledgeable and friendly; in short a pleasure to work with. There is a certain amount of stress involved in embarking on such a project. We feel relaxed and excited about our plans knowing that it is all in capable hands.”

“We highly recommend Lea. She helped us renovate our very tired kitchen (our home is about 90 years old), providing fabulous design ideas and plans to get maximum enjoyment out of our kitchen area without changing the footprint. She also helped us secure all necessary building permits and a structural engineer. She is organized, detailed oriented, resourceful, knowledgeable and clever with a strong creative flair. Lea is also personable, fun and a real team player. Best of all, there were no surprises, financial or otherwise. Everything you'd want in a residential architect - and more! We're thrilled with our new main-floor space!”
