“He redesigned the front elevation of our home. We had a supporting brickwall that was bending under the weight of a large overhang and the overhang needed to be supported in a diferent way. The actual work has not been started yet but we have hired a contractor to do it.”

“We had very difficult lot to find a house plan for the square footage we desired. We were very fortunate to find a plan that would fit our lot which was available at Don Hildabrand Home Designs. This saved us the cost of having to have a plan drawn up from scratch. Don was very helpful in guiding us through the changes we wanted to make to the initial plan. He has been available to us for guidance when we needed further resource recommendations during the builiding process. The cost for the house plans and his services were well in line with our budget. I have recommended his services to others.”

“As a home builder, I have found that Charles always takes the time to understand the design/feel I am looking for in a particular home. He is always open to my input in design, and always has great ideas where I am struggling to make something come together just right. He has the ability to take my thoughts from chicken scratch and scribbled drawings on notebook paper and turn them into useable construction documents. When working with our custom home clients, Charles always treats them as though they were long lost friends, and works with them until he gets everything how they want. My relationship with Charles began when I was a superintendent for another home builder, and continued once I branched out on my own. As a person, I know of few people with the sincerity and decorum as Charles. Not only would I recommend Charles as an Architect, he is the only architect that I recommend.”

“QMA designed our lake house. Darrell met with us initially to hear our priorities and ideas. He asked great questions, offered workable solutions and material suggestions to help us define our personalized style. He worked through just a couple of revisions with us and the result was a perfect design. One of our priorities was to take advantage of the great lake view of our property. This was accomplished beautifully with a lake view from every room. Darrell then provided detailed drawings within a few weeks allowing our contractor to catch the vision and complete the project. We are 100% pleased. We love our new place and love sharing it with our family and friends. Thank you Darrell!”

“Michael Höfner, the principal, is the most creative, visionary, and collaborative architect I've ever worked with - and I have worked with many over the years, doing historic rehabilitation. His approach to design/budget constraints is to come up with something better, more unique, and that adds to the project as a whole. I cannot recommend him highly enough.”
