“From start to finish this was an amazing experience. Becky listened to all of our input and took all of our wants and needs into consideration. The project came in under budget and ahead of schedule and the crew doing the work were fabulous. We will be using them again on next major project! Our house was built in 1910 and they did a great job of incorporating the character and charm into the project! Couldn't be happier!”

“David Biek from Arcadea has worked on two projects for us. The first project was restoring a beautiful multi million dollar 4 story grey stone in Chicago. The building was a classic old building in disrepair. David's design work brought the building infastructure into the 21st. century yet he maintained the old world charm. Thanks to the remodel, the building is renting for top dollar. The second project David did for us was some remodleing at our home in Boulder. After the 2013 floods, we had some serious repairs to make on our bottom floor. David redesigned the worst, ugliest bathroom in our home and made it wonderful.The bottom floor has never looked better. You can trust David. He's careful, fair priced, thoughtful, imaginative, and always has good follow through.”

“Home renovations are extremely stressful - especially the renovation of a diamond-in-the-rough hundred-year old house in a neighborhood with many fine examples of well-preserved hundred year old houses. I looked at the result of several renovations before hiring Carol - what was obvious in her work was a deep understanding of the technical challenges as well as a love of understated, elegant design and an eye for detail. I made the right choice. Carol's sensitivity, approachability, and unflappable resolve rescued the project. The architectural elements that Carol recommended have drawn admiration in the neighborhood, without overwhelming the original character of the house. Mission accomplished”

“Zev helped me add an office to my home. Zev was extremely helpful from the very beginning in the planning and design process. His friendly demeanor and honest approach was pivotal in deciding to work with him. Zev was very organized in his approach and very clear on timeline. He communicated timely and met all deadlines. “The architects at TKP have great vision and practical ideas. I had spent months working with another architect to design an addition to our 55-year-old home but nothing clicked. Then Karen Keating looked all through our home, sat down and in a matter of minutes roughly sketched out a plan which included a dining nook, den, office, bath and storage room. I knew we'd found the firm with which we wanted to work. Everyone that we worked with at TKP was respectful of our ideas, and then made them even better. We love our three-year-old, 1000 square foot "new" space. It flows beautifully with the original house.”

“I pretty much knew want I wanted to do with my project. I warned Ellen I knew enough about architecture to be dangerous. Ellen recognized my requirements and was instrumental in identifying other considerations needed for the project. Included was a need for a code variance (setback). I was informed by the city, before starting the project, a code allowance(variance) was not required. Ellen’s code research was right. A code allowance was required. With her help, the review board approved the code allowance request unanimously. Our project involves bumping the attached garage eight feet to allow for a utility room between the garage and house. The design includes moving the washer and dryer out of the basement. As simple as the project sounds, there is a lot involved. Ellen listened to my wife’s concerns and ideas on the project. Together we achieved a very efficient design. We are now in the permit and construction phase of the project. I am looking forward to Ellen’s input. Ellen deserves your serious consideration.”

“Alison and Anna are wonderful ladies to work with. They have a great eye for design and understand how to get the most out of the space you have to work with. Their drawings are detailed which makes it easier for us as builders. Our company CCM, LLC (general contractor) has worked on few project with HQ Architects. Our most recent project was a custom home in Hill Top. We love working with these ladies and can't wait for the next project.”
