“We hired Traci Kelley to draw up our house plans after considering doing it ourselves, realizing that we had gotten in over our heads. We are so glad that we went with her. I was very happy with her from the first meeting. She listened to what we wanted and gave her own input that ended up being far better than what I had imagined and thought of things that I had not considered. Her expertise was greatly appreciated. I got absolutely everything I wanted and more without any costly back and forth, we did some minor changes to the very first draft and that was it. The finished plans are amazing, we can't wait to see our house built.”

“Black and Vernooy designed our wonderful lake house. They really listened when we described what we wanted i.e., low maintenance, save trees, indoor/outdoor ambiance. Their plan was innovative and beautiful, mirroring our desires and budget. The firm worked diligently with the builder and when the house was completed, Sinclair Black, the entire group and especially Stephi Motal exceeded our expectations.”

“We hired architect Richard Hughes, of Element 5 Architecture, to redesign the living areas of our 1957 home. We wanted more light and greater functionality for the space. From the beginning, Richard was professional, approachable, listened to our needs, and communicated his concept well. He was also open to the ideas that my husband and I had about our project and incorporated many of those into the final design. Work was done in a timely manner, and the final result is a more inviting and useable space that’s great for entertaining and for everyday living.”

“Steven is drawing the second home for our family. We could not be more pleased with his work. He listens, incorporates what we want, and is very good about communicating with you through the process. I have lived in many homes in my life and my favorite by far is the one Steven drew for us. In fact we loved it so much, he is drawing a slightly modified version for us to build again that take into account the changes in our family. Highly recommend!”

“Co(X)ist wa a delight to work with from start to finish. Frank and Megan provided us with a clear process and timeline. They worked within our budget while providing options and possibilities that we hadn’t considered. They listened carefully to our needs, tastes and desires and helped us reimagine and rediscover our home! Our home now feels and lives bigger, it’s more open, light and usable - even though we didn’t add square footage to the home’s original footprint. They helped us vet bids and select our contractor and they provided the appropriate attention to detail and follow-through. All-in-all a great experience. We look forward to working with them again on another project!”

“We hired Janet to help us design our home on Lake Travis. She was an absolute delight to work with throughout the entire process. I am one of those clients that has a very specific idea of what I want. And Janet is one of those designers that actually listens to what the client has in mind, and then helps them make it even better. She wan't creating her idea of our perfect home, she was helping us create our vision for our home. She was timely and professional, but also has a great sense of humor. Probbably the only negative thing anyone could say about her is that she is a work-a-holic...because she truly loves what she does! Would I hire her again? Absolutely! When a remodeling project recently came up she was the first person that I called. I would recommend her again and again.”

“Wade was incredible to work with-- he really listened to our wants and needs for our project and was very detailed oriented. We loved the bathroom he designed for our home and our builder was very impressed with the level of detail that was in the plans. Cannot wait to work with him on future projects!”
