“For more than two years commencing in August 2002 I worked with Hope and Brad of Salmon Falls Woodworks to restore and renovate a large c1725 house my husband and I purchased in 2001. We lived in the house throughout the project, and what could have been fraught with tension and difficulty was a wonderful adventure. There is not a room in the house that they did not touch with their skill and care. The kitchen and laundry area presented a major design and construction challenge, but Brad and Hope transformed a warren of small dark rooms into a beautiful, sunny space that functions perfectly for two active cooks. While remaining true to the spirit and aesthetic of the house this space now has 21st century efficiency and satisfies our modern desire to connect the interior with the garden and landscape beyond. It was a delight to work with two people whose high standards matched my own. Hope and Brad are experienced craftsmen who work with great sensitivity, conscientiousness and integrity. Further, their design and execution skills for both cabinet making and general construction are unmatched in my experience. Any client is well advised to trust Salmon Falls Woodworks to deliver a beautifully executed project.”

Though we only had a few basic ideas for our house, they created multiple options for us to consider. Our project has a few unique aspects. “We started off needing an architect to complete some routine as-built drawings for an inn we are renovating. We were amazed at how quickly and professionally Hiroko was able to complete this for us. During this project, we were struck by her vast understanding of code requirements and structural issues. She was also great for helping us understand the municipal process in NH. We also discovered she has an excellent design sense. When we were ready to tackle a barn renovation with 40x60 addition to be used as a wedding venue, we had no doubt we would like to work with Lindsey Architects again. She is great at listening to what we want, giving us sensible advice and putting a design together that really works. We have even collected some building materials in advance which she is willing to work with. A few months back, we purchased an entire wine room from a homeowner who was renovating his home.. Hiroko did a great job working it into the design. We also really appreciate the fact that she is conscious of the fact that we do have a budget!”

“Karina is a joy to work with! My husband and I consulted with Karina to try to figure out how to make our house work for us, my in-laws and our growing family. She had some wonderful ideas about how we could make it work. Ultimately, we decided to buy another house but are looking forward to working with her on my dream kitchen remodel once we get settled. I highly recommend working with her! She is so easy to get along with and really takes the time to understand what your vision is and advise you on what may or may not work. I was also impressed that she didn't want to advise anymore work than was within our budget, saving me the heartbreak of falling in love with something I couldn't ultimately have.”
