“We own a well designed and built 1926 bungalow, which had a not-so-well designed addition in the 1950s. We loved and treasured the original part of the house, but wanted to remove the addition and add a master bedroom suite and home office that would blend in with the charm of the original house and its steep-pitched (12/12) tile roof. We talked to three architects (paid two to draw concept sketches) but no one could – or wanted to take the time to - determine how to tie into the stick-built roof and create an addition large enough to meet our needs but not overwhelm the original structure. That is, no one until we met Mark Pemberton. We had heard of Mark and knew he had designed a number of beautiful – and very large – homes in central Florida and thought that our little addition would not be of interest to him; but decided to contact him. It was clear from our first meeting that if anybody could solve our design problem it would be Mark. It didn’t come easy but he was engaged, involved, innovative, and persistent. With Mark’s attention to detail – and a builder and roofer (who found and installed matching 1926 Ludowici tile) with the same craftsman dedication – we have a wonderful addition to our home.”

“This company has two architects. I had a consultation with Jose Venegas who really helped me understand what was important for our family in a remodel. I didn't feel taken advantage of or pressured to make quick decisions. They give back to the community and are working with a local school to build a community kitchen because they believe in the vision of children having access to a garden and sharing what they learn with the community. They are knowledgeable about aging in place, which will be a priority with our remodel. Also, they understand that you have to work within a budget. They are willing to work with my tiny budget in comparison to some much bigger clients they have, and I still feel our project is important to them. It is”
