“My husband and I bought land and decided to hire a designer for our home. My cousin recommended Guy Land because he designed many of the homes in her community as well her own home. She was very pleased with him and the results, so we went with him. I was a little concerned about the distance, (his home office is in Tennessee and we are in the Houston area) but he was able to put that to rest after talking with him on the phone. We basically started from scratch with conversations over the phone and he drew up some rough drafts that he sent via email. He always welcomed our ideas and criticisms and made the changes we requested with a few tweaks to include his own designs. He seemed to know what we wanted, without us really knowing what we wanted. It wasn't after we saw it on paper, that we realized that. Our project took about a year to finalize a plan, due to decision and indecision changes, but he never seemed put out or tired of us. We are in our home, finally, after a year of construction and LOVE it!! Wouldn't change a thing!!”
