Wilcox Avenue, Downers Grove IL

It was time to update this Downers Grove IL kitchen. With most of the cabinets running along one small wall, storage was very tight. Using the Kemper Choice line, maple cabinets were wrapped along one wall and turning a corner; adding additional storage and creating a beverage center. With the sink in the island, the cooking on one wall, and the refrigerator and pantry on another wall, we created a work triangle. A lovely island was built following the curve around the corner, adding a large work surface and seating. To keep this large open area feeling cozy, a warm glazed wood was chosen. Topped off with Black Galaxy granite countertops, this kitchen now has a fresh, classic look.
