2009 NKBA State Design Competition, 1st Place This large open room has a single wall to house the refrigerator, the cooking center, and become a primary focal point. I balanced it using a narrow refrigerator, on the one end, and a similar sized appliance garage, on the other. My client’s wanted tremendous visual impact, their space needed to be refined and exude a sense of emotional warmth and excitement.
