warm and inviting
We stripped, re-stained and sealed the existing maple cabinets a nutmeg color. Slab granite, subway tile backsplash with glass decorative mosaic tiles tie it all together. A stainless hood vent over the island cooktop. We added a multi-piece crown system to cover existing soffits to blend into cabinetry.

Cabinets ok or too dark? Similar to what i am trying to accomplish-the floor is lighter; a cabinet that is darker but not real dark, and has some variation, colors in countertops, then lighter backsplash (but not quite this light), and accent on tile back to tans etc.
