Vine Street-Deck

Huge rooftop deck with 900 square feet adds an outdoor living room. The floating roof allows shade from a hot sun and beautiful views of the stars at night. To make this floating roof work a good support was necessary. We wanted the supports to be light and airy. In order to get the sheer we needed some sort of cross bracing. We used tie rods with a cool detailed steel ring in the center. This design was an alternative to a sheer wall. The cross bracing gave way for a beautiful detail and design element.
