Transitional Spaces

In the adjacent dining space, we opted for a second built-in cabinet. In order for the space to appear balanced and symmetrical, we needed to draw the focus away from the window which is off-centered. We designed a very long credenza which would anchor the space. We specified a woven straw roman shade for the window which blends nicely with the wall color. The credenza not only provides ample storage but also houses a wine refrigerator. For continuity, we used the same materials as for the media center.
