THREEWAYS VILLA

Set in thick forest, this contemporary timber frame villa has been carefully designed to be sympathetic to the woodland that surrounds it. The house sits on the recycled foundations of the 1950’s bungalow which it replaces. The main living areas are arranged to the rear of the property and feature large floor to ceiling windows to reconnect the internal spaces with the south facing garden. The occasional rooms, such as the hallways and utility are arranged to the front, overlooking the road to the north. The site has a prominent position within the village and is already considered a local landmark. The contemporary form of the villa aims to transform the home into a gateway property, welcoming visitors to the area.
