The kitchen now flows easily into the family room

The new island no longer feels separate from the adjoining living area and features granite as well as a raised Brazilian Cherry table top. By taking out a wall/walk through between the kitchen and family room, we were able to create a great room feel for this busy family. Photography by Chrissy Racho
