Architect: Bob Pester, Burnell, Branch & Pester Architecture Photography: Jim Bartsch Photography Kitchen features include: - Cosmos granite kitchen countertops selected for their beauty, for the depth and interest of their “natural art” patterns and, finally, because the silver and copper throughout the stone tied in with the cabinets, wood floor, and stainless steel. - Custom made kitchen cabinets of sustainably harvested (FSC) alder with a distressed finish - Colorful tile kitchen backsplash: The goal was to tie the silver, copper, quartz, and black granite counters to the stainless steel appliances, the cabinets, and the floor wood. The tile colors were chosen to embody these elements. The pattern was chosen to create the transition from granite through stainless steel to the wood cabinets.
